Two New Species

A checklist of the known species of the Oriental bamboo-feeding genus Bambusiphaga Huang & Ding, 1979 (Hemiptera: Fulgoromorpha: Delphacidae: Delphacinae: Tropidocephalini) together with their host plants and geographical distribution and a key to the known species in the genus are provided. Two new species, B. kunmingensis sp. nov. and B. yangi sp. nov., are described and illustrated from Yunnan Province, southwestern China.

Two leuctrid species of the Rhopalopsole magnicerca group are described as new, R. brevicula sp. nov. and R. jizushana sp. nov. from the Guangxi Autonomous Region of southern China, bordering Vietnam and Yunnan Province of southwestern China, respectively. Two new species of the nemourid genus Mesonemoura from Yunnan Province of southwestern China are described, M. longiflagellata Xiao & Qian sp. nov. from Pudatcuo National Park of Shangri-la City and M. tumida Qian & Du sp. nov. from Cangshan Mountian of Dali City. The male and female terminalia of the new species are compared to related species.

The leafhopper genus Chinaocerus Zhang & Li (Cicadellidae: Idiocerinae) currently includes three species, C. bispinatus Zhang & Li (type species), C. kangdingensis Zhang & Li and C. shii Zhang & Li from southwestern China. Two New Species

Alseodaphnopsis maguanensis and A. putaoensis, two new species of Alseodaphnopsis (Lauraceae) from southwestern China (Yunnan Province) and northern Myanmar (Kachin State), are here described and illustrated based on both morphological and molecular evidence. They are morphologically similar to Alseodaphnopsis rugosa and phylogenetically closely related to A. rugosa and A. hainanensis respectively. Their preliminary conservation status is also estimated according to the IUCN Red List Categories and Criteria.

Two new species of the genus Stenoloba Staudinger, 1892 are described from the northwestern Yunnan Province of China. Stenoloba herbacea sp. n. belongs to the Stenoloba nigrabasalis Chang, 1991 species-group and is most similar to Stenoloba ochribasis Kononenko & Ronkay, 2001 described from Laos. Stenoloba pontezi sp. n. belongs to the Stenoloba manleyi (Leech, 1889) species-group and is most similar to Stenoloba viridibasis Han & Kononenko, 2009 described from Yunnan. Adults, male and female genitalia of new species are illustrated.

Two new species and an additional record of eriophyid mites from semi-arid and arid environments in East Iran are reported. Aculops ammodendris sp. nov. from Ammodendron persicum Bunge ex Boiss. (Leguminosae) and Aceria launaeae sp. nov. from Launaea acanthodes (Boiss.) Kuntze (Asteraceae) are described and illustrated. No symptoms were observed on the infested host plants. These two new species are the first eriophyid mites on plant species within the genera Ammodendron and Launaea. Geographical distribution of Aceria angustifoliae Denizhan, Monfreda, de Lillo & Çobanoglu, 2008, extended also into the currently studied Iranian area in addition to a previous record from Turkey and Northern Khorasan.
