A taxonomic review of the marine littoral genus Iotarphia Cameron is presented. Three species are recognized, one of which is described as a new species (I. magna Song & Ahn, sp. n.) based on morphological and molecular characters. Genetic divergence of COI using uncorrected p-distance among Iotarphia species ranged from 10% to 11.6%, while intraspecific divergence ranged from 0% to 1.3%. All three species were strongly supported as a single lineage on both neighbor-joining and parsimony trees. The genus Iotarphia and I. australis Cameron are redescribed with illustrations of diagnostic characters. The female of I. rufobrunnea is characterized for the first time. A key and comparison table for similarities and differences among the species are presented.

A total of seven species of the genus Dryophilocoris Reuter are reviewed from Fareast Asia with a new species, Dryophilocoris kerzhneri Jung et Yasunaga sp. nov. Three known species, D. lucidus Yasunaga, D. miyamotoi Yasunaga, and D. saigusai Miyamoto, are newly recognized from the Korean Peninsula. The female genitalia are illustrated and described as taxonomic characters for the first time in the genus, and a key to the species in Fareast Asia is also provided.

Chinese species of Neptosternus Sharp, 1882 are reviewed. Neptosternus punctatus sp. nov. from Guangdong is describedand illustrated. Neptosternus yanbini Bian & Ji, 2009, described from Hainan, is shown to be a junior subjective synonymof the widely distributed Oriental Neptosternus hydaticoides (Régimbart, 1877) (syn. nov.). Neptosternus strnadi Hendrich& Balke, 1997 and N. maculatus Hendrich & Balke, 1997 are recorded from China for the first time. Anotherspecies—Neptosternus wewalkai Balke, Hendrich & Yang, 1997, known previously only from a single female from northernVietnam—is re-described based on male and female specimens from Guangxi, and also recorded from China for the firsttime. Neptosternus pocsi Satô, 1972 is removed from the Chinese fauna. A key to the six Neptosternus occurring in mainland China is presented.

The genus Manoa and the tribe Pseudochironomini are recorded from the Oriental region for the first time. Manoa xianjuensis Qi & Lin sp. n. from Xianju National Park, Zhejiang, China is described and illustrated as adult male and female, the latter associated with the male by standard DNA barcodes. A neighbor joining tree based on available Pseudochironomini DNA barcodes and keys to the adults in Manoa are given.

The paper presents a taxonomic review of Bulbophyllum section Rhytionanthos for the flora of Vietnam and provides the key for its species’ identification. A new species, B. truongtamii and a new variety, B. taeniophyllum var. denticulatoalatum are described for science. Bulbophyllum nodosum is reported for the first time from the country. Bulbophyllum strigosum, described 20 years ago based on cultivated plant of uncertain origin was rediscovered in NE Vietnam. For this species, location and detailed description are reported. Analytical photos, data on phenology, ecology, and distribution are presented for all studied species. The morphological comparison table of the new species, new variety and newly recorded species segregating them from similar species are presented.

A taxonomic review of the Acrotona Thomson in the Korean Peninsula is presented. The genus is represented in Korea by seven species including a new species, Acrotona (Acrotona) koreana Lee & Ahn, sp. nov. Two new synonyms are proposed: A. (A.) lutulenta (Sharp) = A. (A.) suyangsani Paśnik syn. nov., A. (A.) pseudotenera (Cameron) = A. (A.) paeksongricus Paśnik syn. nov. Three species [A. (A.) lutulenta (Sharp), A. (A.) pseudotenera (Cameron) and A. (A.) vicaria (Kraatz)] are reported for the first time in South Korea. A key, descriptions, habitus photographs and illustrations of the diagnostic characters are provided.

A new species of the genus Pedesta Hemming, 1934, viz. P. wangi sp. nov., is described as new to science from northwestern Guangxi, southern China. Based upon 455 bp partial COI sequences, a neighbor-joining (NJ) tree including the new species and twelve congeneric species is reconstructed. It shows that P. wangi sp. nov. is a cryptic species of P. xiaoqingae (Huang & Zhan, 2004), and the mean Kimura-2-Parameter distance between them reaches 2.8%. Wing patterns and genitalic structures of the males of the two species are illustrated and compared. In addition, three female samples are associated with P. xiaoqingae male in the NJ tree, and its wing pattern and genitalia are illustrated and described herein for the first time.

The enigmatic millipede assassin bug genus Xenorhyncocoris Miller, 1938 is revised. Previously known species, X. caraboides Miller, 1938, X. princeps Miller, 1949 and X. schoenitzeri Putshkov & Bérenger, 1999, are diagnosed and photographed. A new species, X. attractivus sp. nov., is described based on male and female specimens from northeastern Borneo. The male of Xenorhyncocoris is reported for the first time, revealing the extreme sexual dimorphism present in the genus. The diagnosis of Xenorhyncocoris is extended in order to make it applicable to the new discovery, and a female-based key to species of the genus is updated. Relationships among Xenorhyncocoris and Vilius Stål, 1863, Neozirta Distant, 1919 and Schottus Distant, 1902 are briefly discussed.

The genus Gonyleptellus Roewer, 1930 is revised and reordered; a new species Gonyleptellus angeloi sp. nov. is described from Nova Friburgo, Rio de Janeiro, three additional species are transferred from other genera and one species is removed, resulting in five species in this genus. The following nomenclatural acts are proposed herein: Gonyleptes pustulatus Sørensen, 1884 is transferred from Gonyleptes to Gonyleptellus; Gonyleptes cancellatus Roewer, 1917 and Progonyleptoides pustulosus Mello-Leitão, 1935, both currently under the synonymy of Gonyleptellus bimaculatus (Sørensen, 1884), are revalidated and transferred to Gonyleptellus. Stephanocranion bimaculatus Mello-Leitão, 1931, previously considered a junior synonym of Gonyleptes cancellatus Roewer, 1917, and thereby previously carried under the synonymy of Gonyleptes bimaculatus Sørensen, 1884, is here unlinked with the former but kept under the synonymy of the latter (of which it is also a junior secondary homonym). Stephanocranion serrulatum Mello-Leitão, 1940, currently under the synonymy of G. bimaculatus, is newly synonymized with P. pustulosus. Stephanocranion bufoninus Mello-Leitão, 1949 (currently combined under Gonyleptellus) is considered a junior subjective synonym of Discocyrtus crenulatus Roewer, 1913. The male of Gonyleptellus bimaculatus is described for the first time. The genus Gonyleptellus is restricted to the states of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Brazil. A key and a map for all the five valid species are presented.
