This decade witnesses renewed interest in research studies on workplace spirituality (WSP). The present research investigates the relationship between WSP and job satisfaction (JS) with the help of two approaches. First, with the help of necessary condition analysis (NCA), it is explored that whether WSP is a necessary condition for the occurrence of JS. Second, the mediation effect of organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) in association amid WSP and JS is examined using Baron and Kenny’s (1986) technique of mediation analysis. A sample of 194 managers working in insurance companies is collected for the study. The study reports a positive correlation between all three variables of the study. Further, WSP does not come out as a necessary condition for JS. A partial mediation effect of OCB is reported. Practical implications and limitations are also discussed in the article.

Interest in spirituality as a scholarly topic has grown in recent years. The present research aspires to investigate the relationship between workplace spirituality and organizational performance. First, necessity of workplace spirituality for organizational performance is investigated with the help of necessary condition analysis (NCA). Second, mediation effect of organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) in relationship between workplace spirituality and organizational performance is explored with the help of technique propagated by Baron and Kenny (1986). Hierarchal regression is used to test Baron and Kenny’s (1986) conditions of mediation. Results of NCA establish workplace spirituality as a necessary condition for occurrence of organizational performance. The OCB is also reported to partially mediate the relationship between workplace spirituality and organizational performance. Practical implications, limitations of the study and suggestions for future researchers have been discussed in the last part of the article.

<p class="Abstract">Workplace spirituality has steadily been gaining attention in the last couple of years. Many researchers have investigated the role of “workplace spirituality” with the aim of generating research data that would firmly entrench this construct as vital in the workplace. This article proposes the relationships between workplace spirituality, job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behaviors. It examines the relationship between three workplace spirituality components–meaning and purpose in work, recognition of an inner life or spirit and interconnectedness with the various forms in which organizational citizenship behaviours manifest, mediated by the job satisfaction experienced by the employees. This study can provide significant inputs to promote managerial effectiveness, change management, leadership, holistic performance and growth of organizations, through environments which promote workplace spirituality.</p>

This research aims to determine the role of job satisfaction as a mediator of the relationship between principal supervision and compensation for teacher performance. The research design used a quantitative approach to causality. To obtain research data using documentation instruments and distributing questionnaires online. The sample used in the study was 215 respondents. The basis for determining the sample is oriented towards a non-probability sampling approach using a purposive sampling formula. To test the mediating effect of satisfaction and the relationship between principal supervision and compensation on teacher performance, a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach is used using partial least squares. Under the research results, It was found that the fact that principal supervision had a significant effect on job satisfaction and teacher performance. Then compensation also has a significant effect on job satisfaction and teacher performance. The findings of the mediation effect state that job satisfaction successfully mediates the relationship between principal supervision and compensation for teacher performance

The first purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of job satisfaction on the relationship between job autonomy and innovation behavior. The second purpose was to examine the moderating effect of proactive personality and openness to experience on the relationship between job autonomy and job satisfaction, And the third purpose was to examine the moderating effects of climate for innovation on the relationship between job satisfaction and innovation behavior. Data were gathered from 338 employees who were working in various organizations in Korea. As results, job autonomy had positive relationship with job satisfaction and innovation behavior, and job satisfaction had mediation effect on the relationship between job autonomy and innovation behavior. Proactive personality and openness to experience had moderating effects on the relationship job autonomy and job satisfaction because the relationship was more positive when proactive personality and openness to experience was high than low. Also climate for innovation had moderating effect on the relationship job satisfaction and innovation behavior because the relationship was more positive when climate for innovation was high than low. The implications for research and practice, limitations, and future research tasks were discussed.

The present study was conducted in colleges, universities in India to understand the relationship between the teamperformance, organizational citizenship behavior and team conflict. The data has been collected throughquestionnaire and analyzed data to know the team conflict mediation effect on relationship conflict, task conflict,team performance and organizational citizenship behavior. The study consist of 204 team members whichparticipated from 25 different colleges and universities and the data analysis was performed through SPSS 22 versionused for hierarchical regression to get desire results. The detailed analysis was performed and discussed in detail.

Nonprofit organizations (NPOs) face great challenges in attracting and retaining volunteers due to the short-term nature of most voluntary posts. This study examines the mediating effect of job satisfaction on the relationship between servant leadership and volunteer retention and organizational citizenship behavior in NPOs among university students in the context of a developing nation. The Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach reveals that job satisfaction is the most important predictor of volunteer retention in NPOs. Moreover, the significantly mediating effects of job satisfaction on the relationship between servant leadership and volunteer retention and organizational citizenship behavior in NPOs is evinced. Volunteers report being highly satisfied with the NPOs’ communication of their vision and mission and confirm that they are provided with support networks when volunteer-related problems occur and when they are autonomous in fulfilling their volunteer assignments.

This study aims to investigate the mediating effect of affective commitment on the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention in international school teachers. Data were collected through questionnaire from 80 teachers in an international school in Jakarta, Indonesia, which indicated that affective commitment fully mediated the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention. Theoretical and practical implications were discussed.

This study examined the interaction between organizational culture, organizational citizenship behaviours and job satisfaction. While organizational culture plays an important role in affecting performance indirectly, other variables mediate and moderate the relationship. This study was based on a sample of 127 Egyptian participants undertaking an MBA course. Results showed positive significant correlations between four types of organizational culture, job satisfaction and citizenship behaviour individually. Job satisfaction mediated the relationship between culture and citizenship behaviour. However, the mediation effect was weak. Further discussion, implications and research limitations are discussed.

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between cultural orientations (horizontal/vertical -individualism/collectivism) and organizational citizenship behaviors (OCBI or OCBO). Levels of perceived organizational support (POS) was treated and evaluated as a moderator or a mediator. Data were collected based on a survey from 385 workers of various organizations. Correlation analysis for relationship between variables, hierarchical regression analysis for moderation effect of POS, and a series of simple regression analysis for mediation effect of POS were performed. The results showed the followings. First, except for OCBI, all types of cultural orientation appeared to relate to OCBO. Second, horizontal- individualism showed no indication of POS, resulted in a non-significant mediating effect on the relationship between horizontal-individualism and OCBI/OCBO. Third, except for the significant moderating effect of POS in the relationship between vertical-collectivism and OCBO, POS was found to have partial mediating effects on the relationship between cultural orientation-OCB. Limitations and further research consideration were discussed.
