According to the basic idea of similarity theory, the pile model in saturated transverse isotropic clay is determined. It imitates the moment of different positions along the pile and acceleration of each test point on the soil surface, under the same largest exciting force with different frequencies on the top of the pile. The results of experiment show that the variation trends of the moment are the same for different frequencies of excitation, looking like an inverse S. Acceleration value of each test point on the soil surface decreases with decline of the exciting frequency.

Based on linear magneto-electro-elasticity, the circumferential SH wave equation of transversely isotropy piezoelectricity-piezomagnetic functionally graded cylindrical curved plate is obtained. The Legendre orthogonal polynomial series expansion approach is employed to derive its asymptotic solution. The dispersion curves, electric potential and magnetic potential distributions are calculated. The influence of the piezoelectricity and piezomagnetism on the circumferential SH wave is investigated and the influential factors are analyzed. Finally, the influence of the gradient field and the ratio of the radius to thickness on the piezoelectric effect and piezomagnetic effect are illustrated.

To further verify the feasibility of theoretic calculation, according to similarity theory, the principles and methods of pile foundation-soil interaction in saturated soft clay are determined. It studies acceleration interaction of each test point on the soil surface under the same largest shock force with different frequency on the top of the pile. The results of experiment show that the acceleration interaction trend of each point changes with the change of shock frequency, it shapes like a down N with the shock frequency of 5Hz, like an M with the shock frequency of 10Hz, like a down V under the shock frequency of 15Hz~30Hz. With the shock frequency of 40Hz and 50Hz, it likes a plane curve (hyperbolic curve) shape.

Sedimentary rocks with layered structure account for two third of global land area, and this proportion is 77.3% in China, lots of metamorphic rocks also have significant features of layered structure, so there are a large number of stability problems about layered rock mass in mining engineering. Layered rock mass is generally considered to be transversely isotropic solid in mechanics. Based on the complex variable expression of displacement components of transversely isotropy, the displacement analytical solution of a deep elliptical tunnel in transversely isotropic rock mass is derived by conformal mapping method.
