The aim of the present work was to solve the technology for welding Mg alloy type AZ 63 with aluminium and to assess the quality of the fabricated joints (bimetals-composites). In solving the welding technology, the high affinity of Mg to oxygen has to be considered and therefore as suitable technology either metallurgical joining in vacuum (electron beam etc.) or high-speed solid state welding seem to be feasible. Explosion welding with Semtex S 30 explosive was approved experimentally. Parallel arrangement of welded materials was applied. The more plastic Al material was accelerated. Quality of bonds (bimetals) was assessed by defectoscopy (ultrasound), optical microscopy, microhardness measurement and X-ray microanalysis. It can be generally stated that the basic requirement on joint quality (namely the undulated boundary) was met. The structural composition and absence of inhomogeneities in fabricated bimetals suggest that the desired quality was achieved.

The paper presents the results of strength tests (ram test) of two types of three-layer material made using the explosion welding technology. Clad materials used in the test differed in the overlay layer (A1050 and A3003). The results were analysed for factors affecting the obtained level of joint strength.

The paper presents schemes for producing seamless pipes made of multilayer metal material with an internal protector using explosion welding technology. The developed scheme of explosion welding to the original liners for later they rolled into a seamless tube. The features of creating permanent joints from these materials using arc welding methods are indicated.

В статье рассматривается процесс проектирования, 3D-моделирования, технологии сборки и сварки плоской судовой конструкции. Была создана 3D-модель секции, которая стала основой для ассоциативного чертежа. На основе действующих нормативных актов разработана технология сборки и сварки, рассчитана продолжительность и трудоемкость, построен сетевой график, описывающий процессы производства. The article presents the process of engineering, 3D-modelling, assembling and welding technology of a flat ship structure. A 3D-model of a section was created, which the associative drawing was based on. After the assembling and welding technology was designed according to the regulations and standards, the work duration and activity content was calculated. The network graph was plotted to illustrate the course of production.
