Liaromorpha natalicium sp. n. from Cambodia is the fourth species of this genus (Agraeciini). This species is characterized by the structure of pronotum, male tegmina, and the male copulatory apparatus.

Penises of two species of opisthobranch mollusks of Philine were first examined with use of a scanning electron microscope: Ph. aperta (Linnaeus, 1767) and P. finmarchica M. Sars, 1858. This study revealed significant morphological differences. The morphology of male copulatory apparatus of these species is discussed

AbstractA new species of Kritskyia Kohn, 1990 (Monogenea, Dactylogyridae, Ancyrocephalinae) is described from the urinary bladder of Salminus brasiliensis (Cuvier, 1816) (Characiformes, Characidae) from the Cuiabá River, the Pantanal wetlands, Brazil. The male copulatory apparatus of the new species differs from those of other species of the genus by the presence of a bipartite accessory piece (distally and proximally linked), one part grooved, serving as guide for distal portion of the MCO. Moreover, the vagina of the new species differs from those of congeners by possessing distal digitiform processes.

Cryptocellus luisedieri sp. nov. is described from a male specimen obtained from leaf litter in the Kofán Territory, southwestern Colombia. The new species exhibits a series of interesting morphological features including the presence of cuticular pits and a unique shape of the male copulatory apparatus. The new species, which is the first ricinuleid found in the southern Colombian Andes, brings to seven the number of species of Cryptocellus Westwood, 1874 known to occur in Colombia and to 66 the number of extant species of this rare arachnid order. A male-based key to the identification of the Colombian ricinuleid species and a map showing their known distribution are included.

A new genus and species, Rhodopotyphlus mitovi gen. et sp. nov., is described from the Western Rhodopi Mts., south-central Bulgaria. According to its morphology combined with previously published molecular data, the new species is supposed to represent a basal lineage in the julid tribe Typhloiulini. Some assumptions concerning the early evolutionary stages of the development of the mesomere—an important part of the male copulatory apparatus of many julid millipedes—are made on the basis of the outstanding gonopod conformation in the newly described taxon. Rhodopotyphlus mitovi gen. et sp. nov. is likely a narrow local endemic showing preference for specific microhabitat conditions.

Xestocephalus Van Duzee is among the most common and widespread genera of Cicadellidae in the temperate and tropical regions of the world. In the present study, 205 specimens of the genus Xestocephalus were collected in Thailand, whereas only a single species of the genus was recorded previously using Malaise trap field sampling, studied by comparative morphology. Seventeen species were recognized, including twelve new species: X. binarius sp. nov., X. chrysanthemum sp. nov., X. cowboyocreus sp. nov., X. densprint sp. nov., X. dimiprocessus sp. nov., X. exproiecturus sp. nov., X. gracilus sp. nov., X. limpidissimus sp. nov., X. malleus sp. nov., X. nonattribus sp. nov., X. recipinams sp. nov., and X. tenusis Liang sp. nov. Four species were recorded in Thailand for the first time: Xestocephalus abyssinicus Heller and Linnavuori, Xestocephalus asper Linnavuori, Xestocephalus ishidae Matsumura, and Xestocephalus toroensis Matsumura. Detailed morphological descriptions of all 17 species are given; photographs of external habitus and male genitalia of the species from Thailand are provided. A checklist of species of the genus is also given, and a key to all Thailand Xestocephalus species is also provided.
