Solid acid catalysts with acid strength of -14.52 < H0 < -8.2 were prepared by sulfate treatment of the samples of boehmite calcined at 105-800 °C. Two preparation methods were used: impregnation of the calcined boehmite with 3.5 M H2SO4 or mixing of the boehmite samples with anhydrous aluminum sulfate, in both cases followed by calcination in nitrogen at 650 °C. The catalysts were characterized by measurements of surface area, adsorption of pyridine and benzene, acid strength measurements by the indicator method and by catalytic activity tests in the isomerization of cyclohexene, p-xylene and n-hexane. Properties of the catalysts prepared by both methods were comparable.

ABSTRACTNa+ in the Preyssler heteropolytungstate anion [NaP5W30O110]14− can be exchanged for a trivalent lanthanide ion. The potential significance of this new class of lanthanide heteropolyanions relates to their applications in catalysis science. This view follows from the fact that Keggin heteropolyanions and their free acids are used as heterogeneous solid catalysts and homogeneous solution catalysts. We describe synthetic conditions that lead to the incorporation of Ce3+ and Pr3+ within the Preyssler anion, and the coprecipitation of Ce3+ and the Preyssler anion. Initial studies indicate that the latter, coprecipitated, material deserves study for bifunctional catalytic activity.

This document explains and demonstrates the problem of Methanol and propylene oxide propoxylation, ZrO2 load active alkali metal oxides MgO the catalytic propoxylation method, analyzed a new type of catalyst activity and selectivity. The results show that the synthesis of MZ complex oxide as a catalyst for the reaction of Methanol substrate, through the catalytic reaction of propylene oxide, selective access to the propylene glycol ether, High selectivity synthesis 1-Methoxy-2-propanol. Synthesis of complex oxide catalyst MZ series in the course of the performance of the primary ether good selectivity, Primary ether, second ether ratio greater than 12, and the catalytic activity is also high (about 91% of all).
