The production process of the thermal power plant is transferring primary energy to secondary energy. Loss of energy is quite large for coal machine. When using air supply machine and other boiler auxiliary equipments, saving energy, reducing energy consumption is an important way to reduce the cost. This paper first analyzes the basic principle of energy transformations generation field and principle characteristics of thermal automatic control system during the production process. On the basis of energy saving and low cost framework, according to the single loop feedback construction, we establish automatic control system model of thermal power plant. Through comprehensive cloud generator we do simulation on thermal power enterprises, the result is significant. It shows that this model can provide scientific theoretical basis for the operation mode of power generation enterprises in a certain degree.

A system of feed-water treatment monitoring and controlling based on the integration of PLC and computer is described in this paper. Its composition, functions, and communication are illustrated emphatically. This kind of water treatment system shows many good performances, such as high precision, reliability, easiness in operation and so on. Its study and application is essential for thermal power plant safe and economic operation.

This paper proposes an adsorption-based method of removing sulfur dioxide from the flue gases produced by the thermal power plant. A power plant waste – chemical water treatment sludge available at Kazan CHPP-1 – was used as an adsorption material. Presented here is the chemical composition of the chemical water treatment sludge for a modified sorption material to be designed therefrom. The new sorp-tion material was trial tested for removal of sulfur dioxide from gases. This resulted in kinetic dependence and adsorption isotherm. The test results were then used to design the adsorber. The economic and envi-ronmental effect of using the chemical water treatment sludge as the sorption material was calculated.
