To provide a theoretical basis for sustainable land resource utilization and a reference for areas with similar natural conditions, an evaluation index for land-based ecological security was constructed based on the Driving force-Pressure-State-Impact-Response (DPSIR) model and the improved analytic hierarchy process (IAHP) and entropy methods, and the land-based ecological security status of Xingtai city from 2006 to 2017 was evaluated. Then, the obstacles to land-based ecological security were diagnosed. The results show that the values of the comprehensive evaluation index of land-based ecological security were 0.28–0.66 in the period from 2006 to 2017. The value of the index of land-based ecological security was low in the first seven years and gradually improved in the last five years of the study period. However, the overall situation was grave, and the ecological security conditions were poor. The main obstacles to land-based ecological security were the usage of pesticides, investment in environmental pollution treatments, the degree of machine cultivation, the rate of cultivation and the usage of fertilizer in Xingtai city. Based on the results of the land-based ecological security evaluation and the main obstacles identified in Xingtai city, this paper proposes management strategies and suggestions for improving land-based ecological security in Xingtai city. The specific proposals are as follows: vigorously develop green agriculture, increase investment in environmental pollution control, increase input in science and technology, and strengthen supervision and management of land use.

In order to appraise the safety and reliability of bridges effectively, the comprehensive evaluation model based on analytic hierarchy process was established. The weight of evaluation index was calculated by using the model, and each evaluation index was given score by experts according to actual circumstances, and, on this basis, safety level of the bridge was obtained. And, afterwards, the model was applied to an engineering example for Huangjiaba Bridge. The results show that the evaluation level of bridge safety is third-level, with serious problems existing in this practical example, and the corresponding measures are proposed, which can provide scientific reference for bridge safety management.

Marine ranching plays an integral role in providing fishery resources. Given the critical importance of protecting the marine ecological system, the ecological security evaluation of marine ranching is significant. However, the existing research rarely involves marine ranching ecological security (MRES) evaluation and does not provide a complete evaluation index system. The purpose of the present study was to estimate MRES through several steps and evaluate it scientifically by fully considering the relationship between the factors. First, the evaluation index system was structured using the Driver-Pressure-State-Impact-Response (DPSIR) framework by following certain principles. Second, the study applied the Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) method and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation (FCE) method to assess MRES. Third, a case study of a marine ranching in the Shandong Province was discussed to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed method. This also illustrated the steps of the evaluation. In this case study, the result of the MRES evaluation was graded as excellent. The results demonstrate that using these methods to evaluate MRES can account for the complex relationships between the factors and the cognitive ability of the experts and thus integrate the experts’ information comprehensively, which adds to the credibility of the evaluation results.

To utilize the objective information of index data and consider the important role of subjective judgment in the evaluation of distribution automation equipment testing results, a comprehensive evaluation method based on AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and CRITIC (CRiteria Importance Through Intercriteria Correlation) method is proposed. Firstly, an evaluation index system of distribution automation equipment testing results considering seven big indicators and thirty-six small indicators is established. Secondly, AHP and CRITIC method are adopted to solve a practical evaluation problem of distribution automation equipment testing results. The subjective weights of each evaluation index are calculated by AHP, the objective weights of each evaluation index are calculated by the CRITIC method. Then, to achieve the sorting of distribution automation equipment testing results accurately, the comprehensive weights are obtained by combining the two weights. Finally, the analysis and comparison of case studies show that the proposed evaluation index system can accurately reflect the performance of distribution automation equipment and the comprehensive evaluation method of distribution automation equipment testing results which comprehensively considers the subjective comprehensive evaluation results.

The development of the regional economy cannot be separated from the support of regional logistics, as the scientific decisions of regional logistics are helpful to promote the healthy development of the regional economy. The comprehensive evaluation of regional logistics competitiveness is the premise and foundation of regional logistics scientific decision-making; the evaluation index system, evaluation data, and index weight are the key links affecting a comprehensive evaluation. In order to improve the quality of a comprehensive evaluation, the study aims at addressing problems such as the evaluation index system of regional logistics competitiveness being complex and scattered, the normalized distribution of the evaluation data being extremely asymmetric and seriously deviating from the normal distribution, and the logic of calculating index weights by the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) not being accurate. To do this, a triangle model of regional logistics competitiveness is constructed based on Porter’s diamond model, and the evaluation index system of regional logistics competitiveness is refined from the three dimensions of resource supply, logistics service, and market demand. Based on the concept of symmetry theory, a normalization method of segmental mapping with quartiles as multiple reference points is proposed, which improves the distribution rationality, symmetry, and distance discrimination of normalized data. The dynamic index scale is used to determine the scale of the analytic hierarchy process, and the evaluation matrix is constructed based on the importance level grading table; the index weights are directly solved without a consistency check, which improves the logical accuracy of a subjective evaluation. Based on the data of segment mapping, the comprehensive evaluation value of the evaluation object is calculated, and the competitiveness of regional logistics is compared and ranked, which improves the differentiation and consistency of the results. Through the comparative analysis of the calculation results, it was proven that the improvement of the data standardization method is necessary when the range is too large. The method in this paper can make the distribution of data standardization with a range too large closer to the normal distribution. It was found that the ranking of regional logistics competitiveness is highly consistent with the total social logistics, and that the total amount of regional logistics has an important reference value for the competitiveness of regional logistics. The ranking calculated by the indicators and methods in this paper has a certain reference value for regional logistics decision-making.

The characteristics of wind power such as wave properties, intermittence, seasonal nature, counter regulation and so on have negative effect on power grid; grid-connected wind power on a scale is limited. To aim at the problem that there lacks quantification evaluation method on grid-connected wind power, an comprehensive evaluation index system concerning safety, adequacy, power quality and economy on the power grid which wind power is accepted. By using current advanced fuzzy interval analytic hierarchy process (FIAHP) , analyzing index such as static stability reserve coefficient, peak margin and transmission reliability margin and so on, coming up with the potential risk, thus on the condition of system safety and steady operation, penetrating power can be maximization, utilization rate improved. At last, analysis of the example proves that the evaluation index system and evaluation method is scientific and feasible.
