Control and monitor system of foamed cement mixing device are designed based on PLC and MCGS(Monitor and Control Generated System) configuration software, it realizes data collection and dynamic monitoring, data processing. Through the control system, it achieves automatic control to foamed cement mixing device. Experiments show the system has advantanges of high precision, reliability and good maintain.

As network component is increasing, the managing and controlling systems from a central based control system becomes very complex. The technology used to resolve this is called Software Defined Networks (SDN) which helps to manage and control the system through programs. SDN stands as a developing technique that divides single network as data and control plane. The benefit of SDN are provides more performance, managing the packet flow through diverse dealer’s organization components. The complexities continued to raise when implementing network services both from technical and organizational views. Here in this paper generally focuses on how organizations can deal with the challenge of introducing service chaining and developing critical network services by using the technology SDN and also delivering diverse services of network to user in one system thus customers can fulfill their desire of services based on requests. The “Service Function Chaining” facility of SDN provides services like Load Balancing, Video Optimizing and Firewall.

The RB 211 DLE series staged, pre-mix, lean burn combustor, demands total integration of control system and combustion hardware. The controls design process is described from the conception of the Engine Management System (EMS), which provides protection and control in separate environments, through to implementation of engine development testing. The process of devising an acceptable fuelling strategy to each combustion stage is discussed. This identified the requirements for the computation of complex routines in order to control combustion zone temperatures. The sensitivity of the control design to external conditions of humidity, ambient temperature and fuel composition are explored. Extensive simulation was used to determine necessary instrumentation accuracies. The paper concludes with a review of the development testing and the final control system configuration.

In welfare facilities, although wheelchairs are commonly used for transferring patients, there are many cases in which patients are transferred while lying on beds because it is burdensome for caregivers to move a patient from a bed to a wheelchair. However, the task of moving a bed with a patient lying on it is still physically burdensome for caregivers. Hence in this study, we developed a power-assist omni-directional mobile bed to reduce the burden associated with this task. This paper reports a novel prototype of the omnidirectional power-assist bed and describes the prototype’s design, mechanism and control-system configuration. In addition, we report on experiments that were conducted to verify the effectiveness and usefulness of the omni-directional mobile bed, as well as the adaptability of the omni-directional power-assist system.

Pulp and paper processes frequently present nonlinear behavior, which means that process dynam-ics change with the operating points. These nonlinearities can challenge process control. PID controllers are the most popular controllers because they are simple and robust. However, a fixed set of PID tuning parameters is gen-erally not sufficient to optimize control of the process. Problems related to nonlinearities such as sluggish or oscilla-tory response can arise in different operating regions. Gain scheduling is a potential solution. In processes with mul-tiple control objectives, the control strategy must further evaluate loop interactions to decide on the pairing of manipulated and controlled variables that minimize the effect of such interactions and hence, optimize controller’s performance and stability. Using the CADSIM Plus™ commercial simulation software, we developed a Jacobian sim-ulation module that enables automatic bumps on the manipulated variables to calculate process gains at different operating points. These gains can be used in controller tuning. The module also enables the control system designer to evaluate loop interactions in a multivariable control system by calculating the Relative Gain Array (RGA) matrix, of which the Jacobian is an essential part.
