This study aimed to carry out a systematic analysis of the literature on the environmental impactsof waste resulting from year-round maintenance of roads (WMR) with deicing agents. The impacts on economic factors and the environment at all stages of the life cycle were systematically examined, taking into account the engineering and technological efficiencies, and the direct, indirect, prolonged and deferred effects. A structural-integral block-hierarchical model for monitoring and evaluating the impacts of WMR on the environment and on the industrial, social and economic system as a whole was developed. This incorporated the complex spatial-temporal industrial, biological, physical and chemical impacts of elements of the road infrastructure itself, as well as external conditions. Keywords: pollution monitoring, environmental impact of waste, pollution from transport

Training of highly qualified personnel for science, education and industry is an important factor in the formation of a high-tech economy. The modern system of doctoral training does not always cope with its tasks. Enhancing the efficiency of doctoral training can be associated with an increase in adaptability and self-organization. The adaptation of the pedagogical system to changing conditions should be considered in a broad sense, while its fitting to students’ features is a special manifestation of this property. It is necessary to work out two mechanisms of its adaptation – passive and active. Passive adaptation means adjusting to changing external conditions (including a new law), changing in the systems of an adjacent and higher levels. Active adaptation involves the influence on other subsystems of the university educational environment, such as master’s school, additional education (retraining and advanced training of professors), the scientific and pedagogical personnel attestation system (dissertation councils), research departments. Such adaptation can take place according to the model of expanding influence, simultaneously at two levels – personal (subject-subjective) and organizational and managerial. Self-organization is considered as one of the most important features of the system adaptability and a condition for its successful functioning.

A novel robust control law is investigated on the problem of ship stabilization on the trajectory, which allows one to compensate perturbations in the parameters of the mathematical model of ship dynamics in cases of their changes caused by external conditions, namely: sea waves, currents, wind gusts, etc. To implement the proposed control law, only measured adjustable values are required such as the yaw angle and the control action that is the angle of the rudder of the ship. The synthesized ship course control system was investigated in MATLAB. The law of controlling the ship’s course with unknown parameters and external disturbances in the power supply is proposed. The design of the control law is based on a robust auxiliary loop algorithm and Khalil observers. The simulations illustrate the efficiency of the proposed control law.

This article aims to examine and analyze how Christian education was carried out in the Timor residency during the time of the Nederlansch Zendeling Genootschap. Based on the results of the discussion, it is clear that education is a key element in the pattern of NZG evangelism. Therefore, education could never be separated from evangelism. Instead, the final destination of education is the expansion of the gospel message. The seeds of the gospel were introduced to local people through education. In its journey, the education during the NZG continued to experience ups and downs. There are problems caused by internal factors, but some are caused by external conditions. Even so, the NZG consistently continues to pay attention to the running of education services. The Christian education that has been carried out by the NZG brought a big impact on the social life of the people in the Residency of Timor.

Feelings of awe can generate well-being. The typical explanation of this is that an otherwise self-absorbed individual now experiences something so vast that it forges a humble new perspective of self. Self-absorption is replaced by altruistic characteristics that result in a sense of well-being. However, the observations of Martin Heidegger, Jean-Paul Sartre, and Carl Rogers provide an existential framework for understanding the human being in relation to the world and well-being within that framework. And such a framework offers a different perspective on how the experience of awe produces well-being. Existentially understood, incongruence is the anti-thesis of well-being. Incongruence is developed by a hyper-focus on external conditions of worth. Rather than a remedy to self-absorption, the experience of awe offers the remedy of self-absorption, towards congruence. This article will explore key observations by each existentially principled thinker to display this framework in order to comprehend how awe produces well-being within it.

At the moment, the model of the economy of the Republic of Belarus is constantly developing, filling with new content as the external conditions and internal factors of the functioning of the national economic system change. The purpose of the study is to analyze the economic growth in the Republic of Belarus based on various methods. The methodological basis of the study was the methods of dialectics, methods and principles of interdisciplinary scientific knowledge of a subject of complex quality, the rules for constructing a paradigm and its terminological support. Research hypothesis. At the moment in the Republic of Belarus a "modern knowledge economy" is being formed, that is, the economic system, the economic order and the economic mechanism are constantly being improved .. Presentation of the main material. The article formulates the main hypotheses of the research, shows the stages of new economic relations, which are being reformed at a faster pace, taking into account the requirements of technical progress. It is substantiated that intensive or extensive types of economic growth do not exist in their pure form. There is always a combination of them with the predominance of one - predominantly intensive or predominantly extensive economic growth. The originality and practical significance lies in the attribution of growth to one type or another, depending on the value of the specific weight of the increase in production obtained due to a qualitative or quantitative change in its factors. Conclusions and prospects for further research. Based on an analysis of the past, an assessment of the existing problems and the results achieved in the present, it is possible to avoid possible risks in the future, and this is precisely what management excellence is about. And the correct perception and analysis of the reasons for the lag contains the potential for growth. Further research on the topic should be focused on clarifying the institutional foundations that can really streamline the limitations of the system for analyzing the economic growth of the state.

The main purpose of the article is to present various ways of conducting art therapy with families, which is often referred to as Family Art Therapy. In the first part, the author explains the sources and unique features of this form of work, before proceeding to characterize therapeutic interventions described in the literature on the subject. Although they are not numerous, they present a wide range of possibilities for the use of Family Art Therapy. The author, therefore, proposes a division into three main groups of problems: (1) the functioning of the family is disturbed as a result of the health condition of one of its members; most often it is a child who is experiencing severe mental disorders, e.g. schizophrenia, mood disorders, depression, suicide attempts, etc. or ADHD, ASD and neurodevelopmental disorders; (2) the functioning of the family is disturbed as a result of external conditions: a crisis situation, or domestic violence; (3) disturbances in the relationship between the parent(s) and the child. These various family problems require different techniques and exercises, which has been highlighted in the characteristics of the different ways of working with families. The article is also complemented by short descriptions of art-therapy works prepared by art therapy students, the starting point for which was the use of a diagnostic and therapeutic genogram technique for creative, artistic work and self-reflection on one’s own family. The article ends with the significant words of the precursor of Family Art Therapy, Hanna Kwiatkowska showing the value of this form of work not only for its participants but also for art therapists.

Taking into account the need to clarify the terminological framework of modern pedagogy, the concept pedagogical situation in general and its place in the pedagogical discourse in a cross-cultural aspect is discussed. Today, the concept of situation gains a general methodological significance though lacks a clear definition. Based on the analysis of interdisciplinary research, we concluded that the integral concept of situation includes: presence of subjects, dynamism, external conditions, causal relations, chronotope. The analysis of scientific sources proved that in pedagogical discourse of Russian- and English-speaking authors the term pedagogical situation is used incorrectly, the concept of pedagogical situation is mistaken for other pedagogical categories at the theoretical level, there is no unified approach to its definition. Thus the pedagogical situation analysis in Russian language pedagogical discourse is centred on the formulation of a pedagogical task, and in the English-speaking pedagogical tradition it is based on the triangle diagram that includes a teacher, a student and content. In the conducted cross-cultural and partly interdisciplinary study, a pedagogical situation is conventionally understood as a process of interaction of subjects of pedagogical activity (educational process) with a certain task in a certain place and time.

Abstract This paper addresses the problem of determining bandwidth allocation and traffic routes in fixed microwave networks such that overall bandwidth cost is minimized while traffic demands are satisfied with a required reliability level. These networks exhibit high variability in link throughput as modulations schemes are adapted dynamically to ensure acceptable bit-error rate at the receivers according to external conditions such as the weather. First, we formulate an optimal optimization approach based on mixed-integer linear programming, which is subsequently reinforced by inserting problem-specific valid inequalities based on global network capacity and feasible bandwidth/modulation combinations. Then, we introduce a Lagrangian-based heuristic that provides near optimal solutions while reducing drastically the computation time. In comparison to previous work, our experimental results show that our approaches are capable to solve large real-world network instances in an effective manner. Furthermore, the results evaluate the impact of reliability and transported traffic demands on bandwidth cost.
