Princeton University Libraries have undergone several phases over the years regarding authority work. This paper focuses on Princeton's treatment of Hebrew name headings within the framework of authority work in general, prior to and following the library's involvement in the NACO (National Coordinated Cataloging Operations) project. The paper deals with the following topics: the methods used at Princeton for authority work before the involvement with NACO in 1980; the stages of Princeton's involvement with NACO after 1980 (including production data); procedures developed at Princeton to facilitate authority work, enhance efficiency, and guarantee quality control in all production levels; personnel involved in authority work; the process undertaken to become an independent contributor of Hebrew name headings; the workflow of Hebrew name headings and the principles applied in establishing Hebrew name headings; and plans for the future.

Implementation of this research has been carried out in the copra small industries "Bangun Mandiri" inKupang and aim to expand inter island marketing as one of community welfare. Outputs and outcomes are achieved suchas improving quality and quantity of white copra products through improved designs of multi-functional vertical furnacesystem copper dryers, especially in-house improvements, door frames, outer boxes and fireplaces as well as increasedcapital investment in the form of oven machinery; an increase in sales turnover of 30%; conducting Lab-scale researchfor possibility consuming dry coconut shells that have been patented as an additive of copra-scented foods/drinks andexpansion of marketing area through Pentahelix's partnership to accelerate inter island marketing. Measurable outcomeis to produce oven machine with complete design, also publication on scientific journal. In the future it is expected thatthe SMEs can further focus to quality control by involving academics or local government. To wake up consumerconfidence is also required efforts of local academics to periodically strive for program assistance activities andproduction management to make a teaching factory so that Pentahelix collaboration is established to produce smallindustries areas with highly competitive and prosper to the middle/lower communities and alleviate poverty, especiallykopra.

Drilling fluid is an important construction technique in the drilling engineering. However, because of the influence of present situation of domestic drilling geological, drilling fluid has not yet been paid sufficient attention. During the construction process, there is not enough professional personnel and apparatus, the fluid recipes are in mess, and they can’t meet different kinds of formations, which cause that the efficiency of the drilling work is low and accidents in the hole happens frequently. This passage which is based on the characteristics and principles of quality control in each section of drilling fluid studies on the quality control, the system composition and how to ensure quality in details. It is also hoped to have the certain value and significance for the future quality control of drilling fluid.

Crowdsourcing is a new technology and a new business model that will change the way in which we work in many fields in the future. Employers divide and source out their work to a huge number of anonymous workers on the Internet. The division and outsourcing is not a trivial process but requires the definition of complete new workflows – from the definition of subtasks, to the execution and quality control. A popular crowdsourcing project in the field of collection of geodata is OpenStreetMap, which is based on the work of unpaid volunteers. Crowdsourcing projects that are based on the work of unpaid volunteers need an active community, whose members are convinced about the importance of the project and who have fun to collaborate. This can only be realized for some tasks. In the field of geodata collection many other tasks exist, which can in principle be solved with crowdsourcing, but where it is difficult to find a sufficient large number of volunteers. Other incentives must be provided in these cases, which can be monetary payments.

Abstract: Public service interpreting and translation have received increasing attention during the last decades. Particularly, public service interpreting has been the object of a considerable number of research. However, research on public service translation (PST) still remains scarce. This article contributes to PST studies by providing an overview of the steps taken towards its professionalization in Flanders (Belgium) such as delineating the PST’s competency profile and the refinement of the certification exam. Moreover, it outlines the background of PST inFlanders and discusses the future challenges concerning the topic, including the continuous quality control and assurance.
