Abstract In recent years, the problem of estimating Hankel determinants has attracted the attention of many mathematicians. Their research have been focused mainly on deriving the bounds of H 2 , 2 {H_{2,2}} or H 3 , 1 {H_{3,1}} over different subclasses of 𝒮 {\mathcal{S}} . Only in a few papers third Hankel determinants for non-univalent functions were considered. In this paper, we consider two classes of analytic functions with real coefficients. The first one is the class 𝒯 {\mathcal{T}} of typically real functions. The second object of our interest is 𝒦 ℝ ⁢ ( i ) {\mathcal{K}_{\mathbb{R}}(i)} , the class of functions with real coefficients which are convex in the direction of the imaginary axis. In both classes, we find lower and upper bounds of the third Hankel determinant. The results are sharp.

Abstract Let A be the class of analytic functions f(z) in the unit disc ∆ = {z ∈ C : |z| < 1g with the Taylor series expansion about the origin given by f(z) = z+ ∑n=2∞ anzn, z ∈∆ : The focus of this paper is on deriving upper bounds for the third order Hankel determinant H3(1) for two new subclasses of A.

In our present investigation, some coefficient functionals for a subclass relating to starlike functions connected with three-leaf mappings were considered. Sharp coefficient estimates for the first four initial coefficients of the functions of this class are addressed. Furthermore, we obtain the Fekete–Szegö inequality, sharp upper bounds for second and third Hankel determinants, bounds for logarithmic coefficients, and third-order Hankel determinants for two-fold and three-fold symmetric functions.

The Hankel determinant for a function having power series was first defined by Pommerenke. The growth of Hankel determinant has been evaluated for different subcollections of univalent functions. Many subclasses with bounded turning are several interesting geometric properties. In this paper, some classes of functions with bounded turning which connect to the sine function are studied in the region of the unit disc in order. Our purpose is to obtain some upper bounds for the third and fourth Hankel determinants related to such classes.

Introducing a new method, we give sharp estimates of the Hermitian Toeplitz determinants of third order for the class S of functions univalent in the unit disc. The new approach is also illustrated on some subclasses of the class S.

In this paper, we introduce some classes of analytic-univalent functions and for any real µ, determine the sharp upper bounds of the functional for the functions of the form k=2 belonging to such classes in the unit disc E = {z : |z| <1}

In this paper, we introduce a new comprehensive subclass ΣB(λ,μ,β) of meromorphic bi-univalent functions in the open unit disk U. We also find the upper bounds for the initial Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients |b0|, |b1| and |b2| for functions in this comprehensive subclass. Moreover, we obtain estimates for the general coefficients |bn|(n≧1) for functions in the subclass ΣB(λ,μ,β) by making use of the Faber polynomial expansion method. The results presented in this paper would generalize and improve several recent works on the subject.

Abstract We study a family of harmonic univalent functions in the open unit disc defined by using post quantum calculus operators. We first obtained a coefficient characterization of these functions. Using this, coefficients estimates, distortion and covering theorems were also obtained. The extreme points of the family and a radius result were also obtained. The results obtained include several known results as special cases.

The Grunsky inequalities [6] and their generalizations (e.g., [5; 14; 17]) have become an increasingly important tool for the study of the coefficients of normalized univalent functions defined on the unit disc. In particular, proofs based upon the Grunsky inequalities have now settled the Bieberbach conjecture for the fifth [15] and sixth [13] coefficients. For bounded univalent functions the situation is similar, although the Grunsky inequalities go over to those of Nehari [11].

Coefficient conditions, distortion bounds, extreme points, convolution, convex combinations, and neighborhoods for a new class of harmonic univalent functions in the open unit disc are investigated. Further, a class preserving integral operator and connections with various previously known results are briefly discussed.
