Twenty seven species of the true bugs from the families Anthocoridae, Reduviidae, Miridae (Cimicomorpha), Coreidae, Thyreocoridae, Acanthosomatidae, and Pentatomidae (Pentatomomorpha) are recorded from the Northeast of European Russia for the first time. The family Thyreocoridae is for the first time reported from the region.

Fourteen species of lichens, fifteen lichenicolous fungi and one saprobic fungus are reported for the first time for St. Petersburg, Western or Eastern Leningrad Region. The lichen Lecidella meiococca and the lichenicolous fungus Tremella phaeophysciae are reported as new to Russia, the lichen Lecania sambucina and the lichenicolous fungus Endococcus tricolorans are new for the European Russia, the lichens Buellia arborea, Chaenotheca cinerea, Bellemerea sanguinea, resinicolous calicioid fungus Chaenothecopsis mediarossica and lichenicolous fungi Arthonia molendoi, Lichenochora obscuroides, Pronectria leptaleae, Sphaerellothecium cladoniae are new for the North-Western European Russia. The most interesting records are briefly discussed.

New data on 22 species of bees of the family Megachilidae from the North Caucasus and the south of European Russia are reported. Six species are new to Russia: Hoplitis curvipes (Morawitz, 1871), Osmia cinerea Warncke, 1988, O. ligurica Morawitz, 1868, O. cyanoxantha Pérez, 1879, Protosmia glutinosa (Giraud, 1871), and Coelioxys mielbergi Morawitz, 1880. Hoplitis turcestanica (Dalla Torre, 1896), sp. resurr. is treated as a distinct species, not a junior synonym of H. caularis (Morawitz, 1875). Megachile albocristata Smith, 1853 and M. alborufa Friese, 1911 are listed instead of previously recorded M. lefebvrei (Lepeletier de Saint-Fargeau, 1841) and M. pyrenaica (Lepeletier de Saint-Fargeau, 1841), respectively. Fourteen new regional records are reported: seven species are new to the North Caucasus, five ones are new to the south of European Russia, and two species are new to the European part of Russia as a whole. The numbers of megachilid bee species currently known in Russia, the North Caucasus, and the south of European Russia are 217, 130, and 71, respectively. The lectotype of Osmia proxima Morawitz, 1875 is designated.

Dicranota (Rhaphidolabis) exclusa (Walker, 1848) (Pediciidae) and Tipula (Savtshenkia) benesignata Mannheims, 1954 (Tipulidae) inhabit a cold spring habitat in the environs of St. Petersburg. The first species is for the first time recorded for European Russia, the second one, for Leningrad Province. The habitat is briefly characterized and illustrated.

Twelve lichen species and two lichenicolous fungi, of them seven that belong to Micarea prasina group, are reported for the first time for St. Petersburg or the whole Leningrad Region. The lichenicolous fungus Intralichen baccisporus is new to Russia, and the lichen Micarea nowakii – for European Russia. A comparative table of characteristics for seven species of Micarea prasina group is presented.

Fourteen species of lichens, four lichenicolous and two non-lichenized calicioid fungi are reported for the first time from the biogeographic province Lapponia petsamoënsis (NW Murmansk Region, Russia); of these, Buellia pulverea, Endococcus brachysporus and Micarea coppinsii are reported for the first time for Russia, Rosellinula haplospora is new to European Russia, and Aspicilia mashiginensis, Chaenothecopsis rubescens, C. vainioana, Lecidea sudetica, Micarea micrococca, Porpidia pachythallina, Protoparmelia atriseda and Psorotichia schaereri are new to the Murmansk Region. Brief notes, mainly on habitats and distribution, are provided for all species listed.

Eight species of lichens and five parasitic (mainly lichenicolous) fungi are reported for the first time for the Tver Region. The lichens Bacidina neosquamulosa and Bellemerea cinereorufescens are new to Central European Russia. Data on localities and habitats in the Tver Region are provided for all species; nearest known localities in European Russia and distinguishing characters of the species are briefly discussed.

The new records of five species of Limoniidae (Diptera) are given: Rhabdomastix beckeri (Lackschewitz, 1935) and Scleroprocta pentagonalis (Loew, 1873) are recorded for the first time from Russia; the first reliable record of Eloeophila mundata (Loew, 1871) from Russia is given; Hexatoma fuscipennis (Curtis, 1836) and H. nubeculosa nubeculosa (Burmeister, 1829) are recorded for the first time from NE European Russia. It is found that the larvae of four species, R. beckeri, S. pentagonalis, E. mundata and H. fuscipennis, in NE European Russia (Perm Territory and Udmurtia) are aquatic psammorheophilous forms inhabiting sandy sediments at the bottom of rivers in sites with strong current. Previously the larvae in these genera and in three of these species have been considered mostly as semiaquatic forms that develop in substrata near the water margin. Larval habitats of the four species in the study area are characterized. The photographs of diagnostic characters of adult males of these species are given.

Rhynchaenus? stobieckii Smreczyński, 1957 is recorded for the Caucasus for the first time; Ceratapion transsylvanicum (Schilsky, 1906) and Ceutorhynchus buniadis Penecke, 1928 are new to the northeastern Caucasus; Ceratapion transsylvanicum is also new to the Russian fauna. For Squamapion samarense (Faust, 1891), first precise localities in the Caucasus and new data on the general distribution are reported.
