The article conducts a questionnaire survey and interview on the students in a high school in Hubei Province of China. The result indicates that the level of high school students’ grammar learning strategy is low. Among the three factors of grammar learning strategy, the cognitive strategy ranks first, then the meta-cognitive strategy and social-affective strategy. And the grammar learning strategy is not correlated with English grammar achievement. The research result demonstrates that there is great difference between female students and male students in English grammar strategy using and grammar score. This outcome is conducive to knowing better about high school students’ condition of grammar learning strategy using, and supplying some reference for enhancing the high school English teaching efficiency.

The aim of this study is to examine and contrast the language awareness of Finnish and German EFL senior highschool students and student teachers regarding aspects of English grammar and its teaching. Data was collected fromFinland and Germany during the academic school years of 2015–16 and 2016–17. It consists of the responses to twosurvey questions of 1st year EFL senior high school students (n = 200 from Finland, n = 200 from Germany) andstudent teachers (n = 118 from Finland, n = 118 from Germany). The study utilizes both qualitative (content analysis)and quantitative (frequencies, percentages, cross tabulation [χ2-test]) research methods. The results show that thesubjects’ awareness of English grammar and its teaching was mainly based on intuitive, implicit knowledge. It wasdifficult for both senior high school learners and student teachers to build a cognitive understanding that wouldincrease their awareness of English grammar, and, as a result of this, its teaching, and respectively theirgrammar-related didactical competences.

This research is a descriptive case study concerning interlanguage in EFL students� narrative writing. The study explores the occurrence of interlanguage in students� writing, and the reason(s) why interlanguage exist in their writing. The data of the study are ten narrative texts produced by nine twelfth-year students of a senior high school in Kuningan. The study used a qualitative research design. There was one data collection procedures applied in this study, namely document analysis. The data from students� texts were analyzed on the basis of the concept of interlanguage by Selinker (1972). The results of the study revealed that from the ten texts, the interlnguage appear in forming passive sentence, choosing incorrect verb agreement, choosing wrong auxiliary, making the unparalleled sentence, and translating sentence word by word. For that reason, it is concluded that interlanguage exist due to the strong influence of native language. Therefore, it is suggested that students should be exposed to the use of appropriate English grammar in their writing.Keywords: interlanguage, narrative writing, passive sentence

English grammar is an essential part of English learning, and it is the basis for students to grasp English. English grammar learning has become a major problem for high school students in the process of English learning. Therefore, it is particularly important to find an effective way to help students master English grammar. Mind map, which is a tool to express divergent thinking, can help people rationally utilize man’s left and right brain to improve people’s creativity and memory. Mind map has drawn Chinese educator’s more and more attention. Based on the basic goals and requirements of the new nation curriculum reform, this paper will focus on the application of Mind map in English grammar teaching, and whether applying Mind map in English grammar teaching can improve students’ interest and efficiency in grammar learning, thus becoming a feasible teaching method in the process of grammar teaching. Through this study, this paper draws a conclusion that the application of Mind map in English grammar can enhance the students’ initiative, promote the students’ interest in learning, the efficiency of learning and the ability of grasping grammar knowledge.

A modification of the Paired-Stimuli Parent Program (Florance, 1977) was adapted for the treatment of articulatory errors of visually handicapped children. Blind high school students served as clinical aides. A discussion of treatment methodology, and the results of administrating the program to 32 children, including a two-year follow-up evaluation to measure permanence of behavior change, is presented.
