The purposes of this research are to identify the influence of travel cost, income, distance, access, facilities, natural beautiness, and age on the number of individual visits to Curug Silawe and to estimate the economic value of Curug Silawe through individual travel cost method. The population in this study are tourists that visited Curug Silawe with sample of 98 respondents taken by the quota accidental sampling technique. The data collection method used are literature study and questionnaire. The analysis tool used are OLS linear regression and economic value estimation. The results showed the variables that influence the number of individual visits to Curug Silawe are income, distance and age. Income and age has a positive effect. While distance has a negative effect. The economic value of Curug Silawe reached IDR 1,109,930,140.48 per year. This value is obtained from consumer surplus obtained per individual per year of IDR 308,656.88. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh biaya perjalanan, pendapatan, jarak, akses, fasilitas, keindahan alam, dan usia pada jumlah kunjungan individu ke Curug Silawe dan untuk memperkirakan nilai ekonomi Curug Silawe melalui metode biaya perjalanan individu . Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Curug Silawe dengan sampel 98 responden yang diambil dengan teknik quota accidental sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dan kuesioner. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear OLS dan estimasi nilai ekonomi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel yang mempengaruhi jumlah kunjungan individu ke Curug Silawe adalah pendapatan, jarak dan usia. Penghasilan dan usia memiliki efek positif. Sedangkan jarak memiliki efek negatif. Nilai ekonomi Curug Silawe mencapai Rp1.109.930.140,48 per tahun. Nilai ini diperoleh dari surplus konsumen yang diperoleh per individu per tahun sebesar Rp308.656,88.

Abstract We estimate a travel cost model for the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests using an On-Site Latent Class Poisson Model. We show that the constraints of ad-hoc truncation and homogenous preferences significantly impact consumer surplus estimates derived from the on-site travel cost model. By relaxing the constraints, we show that more than one class of visitors with unique preferences exists in the population. The resulting demand functions, price responsive behaviors, and consumer surplus estimates reflect differences across these classes of visitors. With heterogeneous preferences, a group of ‘local residents’ exists with a probability of 8% and, on average take 113 visits.

The Traveling Tournament Problem (TTP) is concerned with finding a double round-robin tournament schedule that minimizes the total distances traveled by the teams. It has attracted significant interest recently since a favorable TTP schedule can result in significant savings for the league. This paper proposes an original evolutionary algorithm for TTP. We first propose a quick and effective constructive algorithm to construct a Double Round Robin Tournament (DRRT) schedule with low travel cost. We then describe an enhanced genetic algorithm with a new crossover operator to improve the travel cost of the generated schedules. A new heuristic for ordering efficiently the scheduled rounds is also proposed. The latter leads to significant enhancement in the quality of the schedules. The overall method is evaluated on publicly available standard benchmarks and compared with other techniques for TTP and UTTP (Unconstrained Traveling Tournament Problem). The computational experiment shows that the proposed approach could build very good solutions comparable to other state-of-the-art approaches or better than the current best solutions on UTTP. Further, our method provides new valuable solutions to some unsolved UTTP instances and outperforms prior methods for all US National League (NL) instances.

Frequent occurrence of urban rainy weather, especially rainstorm weather, affects transportation operation and safety, so it is essential that effective intervention measures to recover disordered traffic be adopted and then analyzed for their influence on the dynamic network. Therefore, models and algorithm to show dynamic traffic flow of traffic network in rainy weather are a fundamental need and have drawn great interest from governments and scholars. In this paper, innovative content contains a travel cost function considering rainfall intensity; considering the travel cost function, a dynamic traffic assignment model based on dynamic rainfall intensity is built. Then a corresponding algorithm is designed. Moreover, this study designs three scenarios under rainfall and analyzes the influence of the rainfall on an example network. The results show that rainfall has a significant effect on traffic flow. The finding proved the proposed models and algorithm can express the development trend of path flow rate on a dynamic network under rainfall.

Adanya perkembangan penduduk, mengharuskan fasilitas yang ada cukup untuk melayani dan memenuhi kebutuhan penduduk. Salah satu fungsi kota adalah center of trade yang melayani daerah sekitarnya. Sarana perdagangan merupakan bagian dari pembentuk kota “work, place, folk”. Work diartikan memiliki fasilitas penunjang. Place diartikan harus menempati lokasi yang sudah ditetapkan/diijinkan pemerintah. Folk diartikan dapat melayani penduduk. Sarana perdagangan yang paling dekat dengan kawasan perumahan diantaranya minimarket dan warung. Jarak penduduk dengan suatu sarana perdagangan perlu diperhatikan untuk mengurangi travel cost penduduk dan usaha lebih yang harus dikeluarkan oleh konsumen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif serta menggunakan analisis network analysis untuk menghasilkan cakupan pelayanan minimarket dan warung. Kecamatan Bandung Kidul sudah hampir seluruh wilayahnya terlayani oleh minimarket dan warung. Sekitar 20% wilayah yang tidak terlayani oleh minimarket merupakan komplek perumahan. Penduduk yang tinggal di komplek memiliki perbedaan travel cost ataupun usaha lebih dibandingkan dengan penduduk yang tempat tinggalnya berjarak dekat dengan minimarket maupun warung, dan juga memiliki perbedaan kualitas konsumen dan pola perjalanan berbelanja.
