This article explores the relation between networks as an emerging mode of public governance and corruption. Adopting the theoretical lens of actor-network theory, the article investigates an Italian episode of corruption related to the awarding of government contracts for the management of Mineo’s CARA, Europe's largest reception centre for migrants. The analysis shows that a governance network may turn corruption itself into a network where abuse of power can proliferate thanks to the opacity resulting from the multiplicity of actors, interactions and fragmentation characterizing the governance system.

Based on the inter-governance theory, social network theory and analysis of organizational relationships, as well as water management basin analysis, the basin water governance constitute a large and complex governance network, and the network performance as demonstrated by the network is the effectiveness of water management basin. This paper focuses on the analysis of water basin management network in order to improve the performance of basin water resources management network for the purpose of optimizing the function from the organization, inter-organizational relationships optimization, network optimization optimize the attempt to reform the three angles.

This study adopts Resource Dependence Theory (RDT) and Network Theory (NT) to explore and measure the factors affecting the relationship quality (RQ) between logistics providers and logistics users in addition to considering the impact of RQ on firm performance. By using the survey data collected from 259 respondents who involved in logistics activities in Ho Chi Minh City from October to December 2015. Testing the conceptual model by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), we find that the partner’s importance and network partner knowledge are positively associated with RQ. From the research findings, some recommendations are accordingly proposed.

Purpose The current investigation is a follow-up from a previous study examining child language diagnostic decision making in school-based speech-language pathologists (SLPs). The purpose of this study was to examine the SLPs' perspectives regarding the use of evidence-based practice (EBP) in their clinical work. Method Semistructured phone interviews were conducted with 25 school-based SLPs who previously participated in an earlier study by Fulcher-Rood et al. 2018). SLPs were asked questions regarding their definition of EBP, the value of research evidence, contexts in which they implement scientific literature in clinical practice, and the barriers to implementing EBP. Results SLPs' definitions of EBP differed from current definitions, in that SLPs only included the use of research findings. SLPs seem to discuss EBP as it relates to treatment and not assessment. Reported barriers to EBP implementation were insufficient time, limited funding, and restrictions from their employment setting. SLPs found it difficult to translate research findings to clinical practice. SLPs implemented external research evidence when they did not have enough clinical expertise regarding a specific client or when they needed scientific evidence to support a strategy they used. Conclusions SLPs appear to use EBP for specific reasons and not for every clinical decision they make. In addition, SLPs rely on EBP for treatment decisions and not for assessment decisions. Educational systems potentially present other challenges that need to be considered for EBP implementation. Considerations for implementation science and the research-to-practice gap are discussed.
