The effectiveness of higher education institutions must be measured in terms of research productivity, the ability to produce new knowledge in the form of research and publications. In this case, lecturers as academic staff are expected to have a high level of capacity, commitment, integrity and responsibility to achieve the stated teaching and learning goals. Then, the global challenges that must be faced increasingly demand the role of lecturers to be able to further improve their work performance to conduct research and publish it in reputable international journals such as Scopus Idexed and others. Lecturers are one of the important factors for creating competent university graduates, and the main role of tertiary institutions is teaching, research and community service and is directed to expand knowledge and open new avenues of science and technology. This study aims to analyze  the factors that influence the productivity of lecturers producing international scientific articles at Private Universities using Structural Equation Modeling. The data used are primary data by conducting surveys with a total of 310 respondents, and the analysis used includes validity, reliability, multiple linear regression, multiple tests, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the positive direct effect of transformational leadership style and communication on lecturer productivity. Both of these exogenous variables, transformational leadership style has a path coefficient value of py1 of 0.201 and CR (tcount) of 3.715, while the communication variable proves to be the most dominant influence on productivity as an endegent variable, 5,132.

Statistical population of this study is composed of 250 directors, supervisors, and personnel of Shiraz Blood Transfusion Organization. Among this population, 150 respondents were chosen as sample size based on Morgan’s Table and available non-randomized sampling technique was employed and questionnaires were distributed between the sampled participants. Three questionnaires were utilized as data collection tools as follows: Standard Questionnaire of Personnel’s Performance (Moghimi, 2011), Multifactor Transformational Leadership Questionnaire (Bass & Avolio, 2000), and Organizational Culture Questionnaire (Robbins, 2000). Data were analyzed using confirmatory data analysis and structured equations model and by means of AMOS (v.18) and SPSS (v.22) software. Findings: With respect to path coefficient (0.1) and significance level (0.788), the positive and significant relationship is not verified among performance of personnel and transformational leadership. Given path coefficient (0.84) and significant level (0.000), there is significant relationship among transformational leadership style and organizational culture. Similarly, there is direct and significant relationship among organizational culture and performance of personnel. Moreover, there is indirect and significant relationship among transformational leadership and performance of personnel by organizational culture. Conclusion: Transformational leadership style is indirectly related to performance of personnel via organizational culture. Employee engagement helps businesses in attaining their goals. Employee engagement has been at the center of attention for human resource personnel and researchers who stated that employee engagement can be a key driver of an organization's business success. In Palestine, only 11% of employees are engaged in work. Many researchers recently have found that transformational leadership style has an impact on the work engagement of employees. The population involved in this study includes 5281 full-time employees of which a sample of 328 employees was selected. Moreover, this study is considered to be the first local method to find and analyze the current causal effect of perceived transformational leadership style on employee engagement within the context of Palestine. The data was analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Analysis of Moments Structure (AMOS) was employed to answer the research questions and to test the hypotheses in this study. Results found that transformational leadership style has a significant effect on employee engagement. Results show that transformational leadership is perceived to be more effective leadership in Palestine context. In conclusion, these study findings supported the hypothesis, answered the research question, and achieved the objectives of this study. Still such issue needs to be prioritized in the research especially as it is an essential antecedent of organizational performance. This study aims at examining the relationship between transformational leadership style and organizational performance and to explore whether job engagement can influence on this relationship. Study data were collected from the employees working in a mobile phone company in Bangladesh and collected data were analyzed using SPSS version 20. In order to test the study hypotheses Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used. The result of measurement model indicates that the relationship between transformational leadership style and organizational performance is statistically significant. In terms of mediation effects, job engagement mediates the relationship between transformational leadership style and organizational performance.

PurposeThe purpose of this study is to clarify the effects of transformational leadership (TL) on radical and incremental innovation through the mediating roles of knowledge sharing (KS) behaviors. This study also attempts to bring deeper insight of the correlation among the latent factors by examining how knowledge-centered culture (KCC) moderates the effects of TL on KS behaviors and innovation capability.Design/methodology/approachThis study conducts a questionnaire survey and Structural Equation Modeling to test the proposal research model based on a sample of 321 participants in 85 service and manufacturing firms.FindingsThe results revealed that KS behaviors significantly mediate the relationship between TL and two types of innovation. Specifically, knowledge collecting has more significant effect on incremental innovation compared with influence of knowledge donating. By contrast, knowledge donating has a greater effect on radical innovation compared with effect of knowledge collecting. The paper also highlights the important role of KCC in enhancing the effects of TL on KS activities and innovation capabilities.Research limitations/implicationsThe study has highlighted the important role of KCC as it positively moderates the influences of TL on KS and innovation capability.Practical implicationsThe study provides evidence that TL style is the main driving force of KS processes. Managers should prioritize practicing this leadership style to improve employees' KS behaviors and firm's innovation capability.Originality/valueThe study significantly fills the gaps in the literature that emphasizes how KS behaviors induce different impacts on specific aspects of innovation capability. By exploring the moderator of KCC, the paper significantly contributes to advancing the understanding of how transformational leaders foster employees' KS behaviors for improving radical and incremental innovation.
