<p><em>Management of human resource development in the field of education related to the role of the Principal in an effort to develop the potential that exist in educators and educational personnel. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the role of Headmaster and the staff of educators and education at Kartodipuran elementary school number 21 Surakarta in an effort to explore the ability to support performance in working in the field of education. This research uses qualitative descriptive method with data collection through interview technique and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded that the principal, educators and education at Kartodipuran elementary school number 21 Surakarta has conducted various training and education activities such as job rotation, understudy, coaching and counseling, conference, outdoor training, training, simulations, lecture, self-study.</em></p>

Abstract: Education is the main thing in Indonesia in improving the quality of human resources. The role of the principal is very important to help improve the quality of education. This study aims to describe 1) the role of the principal in improving the quality of education in elementary schools Muhammadiyah 4 Malang. 2) efforts made by school principals in improving the quality of education in elementary school Muhammadiyah 4 Malang. In this research method using qualitative descriptive methods. The results of the study stated that 1) the role of the headmaster in improving the quality of education in elementary school Muhammadiyah 4 Malang was as a manager, leader, supervisor, administrator, educator, innovator, and motivator. 2) The principal's efforts in improving the quality of education in elementary school Muhammadiyah 4 Malang City include: a) making all improvements in all aspects of improving the quality of education; b) planning and preparing activity plans; c) coordinate the distribution of learning activities; d) supervise and evaluate teachers regarding learning activities; e) coordinate in carrying out all school activities.Keywords: The Role of Principals, Quality of Education, Elementary School Abstrak: Pendidikan merupakan hal utama di Indonesia dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Peran kepala sekolah sangat mempengaruhi untuk membantu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan 1) peran kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di sekolah dasar Muhammadiyah 4 Kota Malang. 2) upaya yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di sekolah dasar Muhammadiyah 4 Kota Malang. Dalam metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. This study aims to identify and describe the management of educational resource development in improving the quality of education at the 14 Air Kumbang State Elementary School. With a qualitative descriptive research method, the use of qualitative descriptive research design in this study is intended to describe and analyze the management of educational resource development in improving the quality of education at 14 Air Kumbang State Elementary Schools. The technique of collecting data in this research is through interviews, observation, documentation and triangulation. The results showed that the steps for implementing human resource development management were planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. The obstacles faced in the implementation of human resource development in improving the quality of education at the Air Kumbang 14 Public Elementary School are: lack of teacher consistency (in absenteeism, seriousness in training). The effect of these constraints in the implementation of training is that the results obtained are not optimal, the results are not in accordance with what is expected and can reduce the RABM and in training are also limited by funds

Tourism Thematic of Level II Leadership Training and Education organized by the Agency for Human Resource Development of Bali Province is intended to improve leadership competence as the Regulation of the Head of Nasional Institut Public Administration (NIPA) Number 15 Year 2015 which also has a tourism mindset, which ultimately increases the competence of adaptive leadership. The question in this study is how is the effectiveness of the theme of tourism in improving managerial competence and adaptive leadership? By using qualitative descriptive explanatory analysis method can be concluded learning process of thematic training of tourism effective in developing competency of adaptive leadership of training participants with some things that still need to be improved. Furthermore, it can be recommended to prepare the standard implementation of Thematic Leadership Level II Training of Tourism, which provides reinforcement of substance and material insertion process of tourism into the existing curriculum according to Regulation of the Head of NIPA Number 15 Year 2015 Number 15 Year 2015. Keywords: training, tourism, adaptive leadership

This study aims to describe the role of the principal in the implementation of academic supervision, the results and obstacles of academic supervision in improving the professionalism of teachers of SMP Negeri in MuaraTelang, Banyuasin District. This research uses qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The location of this research is SMP Negeri in MuaraTelangBanyuasin District. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the findings is done by observing persistence, triangulation and reference adequacy. The results of this study explain the positive and significant role of principal academic supervision in improving the professionalism of teachers of SMP Negeri in MuaraTelang District, Banyuasin. Through discussion of the implementation of academic supervision, the results of academic supervision, and the inhibiting factors for academic supervision of school principals. The results of the supervision carried out by the principal of the State Junior High School in MuaraTelangBanyuasin District were able to improve teacher professionalism in pedagogic competence, personality competence, professional competence and social competence.

This chapter discussed issues of injustice as often affecting the emotional, and in some cases, the physical well-being of a person. In recent years, researchers have begun to explore the role of Emotional Intelligence (EI) in creating awareness when it comes to social justice issues related to areas such as racism, sexism, heterosexism, etc. The purpose of this chapter is twofold: First, to concentrate on the area of social justice issues to find out what the literature has explored in terms of the role Emotional Intelligence (EI) might play when it comes to dealing with social oppression, and second, to advocate emotional intelligence traits that can be successfully used to cope with social oppression. We reviewed the literature as a way to deepen our understanding of how to foster “socially conscious” practices within the workplace. The chapter has implications for Human Resource Development (HRD) practitioners to remind them of the responsibility they have to encourage and welcome studies and practices addressing critical aspects such as social justice issues as a way to help ensure a productive and safe workplace. Through this review of the literature, we found that emotional intelligence traits, if practiced responsibly, can make society a better place for everyone to live and work in.
