The village fund is one of the many policy programs carried out by the government sourced from the state budget (APBN) which is allocated directly to the village. But in the implementation of the village fund, there are still problems so that in general the village fund is still not effective. This study analyzes the role of actors in the implementation of village funds from the perspective of the principal-agent whose locus is in Linggo village, Kejayan district, pasuruan regency. The focus in this study is the role of principal and agent in the stages of planning, implementation, and reporting of the village fund by measuring the effectiveness of implementation through the principles for cultivating effective implementation practice. Novelty of this research is to see the effectiveness of the implementation of the village fund from the perspective of the relationship of the principal agent. This study aims to create a model of the effectiveness of the village fund policy implementation in linggo village, kejayan district. The results showed that the relationship between the principal and agent must increase oversight so that the policy objectives can be achieved.

This research is a type of field research with a qualitative descriptive approach with the title Role of the Principal in Improving PAI Learning during the Corona Pandemic at RA Taam Adinda Kepatihan Menganti Gresik. This study aims to determine the role and strategy of school principals in improving PAI learning during the corona pandemic at RA TAAM Adinda Kepatihan Gresik. The subjects in this study were educators, students, parents, and related parties. The data collection techniques used were observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the findings of this study can be concluded that the role of the RA Taam Adinda principal in improving Islamic Education learning during the corona pandemic in Kepatihan Menganti Gresik village was as educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator that had been implemented properly and by defined goals and plans. The strategies used by the school principal in improving PAI learning during the corona pandemic at RA Taam Adinda Kepatihan Menganti Gresik were improving teaching skills for teachers, optimizing the use of media and educational facilities, carrying out regular supervision, and establishing good cooperation with the community

This study aims to describe the role of the principal in the implementation of academic supervision, the results and obstacles of academic supervision in improving the professionalism of teachers of SMP Negeri in MuaraTelang, Banyuasin District. This research uses qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The location of this research is SMP Negeri in MuaraTelangBanyuasin District. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the findings is done by observing persistence, triangulation and reference adequacy. The results of this study explain the positive and significant role of principal academic supervision in improving the professionalism of teachers of SMP Negeri in MuaraTelang District, Banyuasin. Through discussion of the implementation of academic supervision, the results of academic supervision, and the inhibiting factors for academic supervision of school principals. The results of the supervision carried out by the principal of the State Junior High School in MuaraTelangBanyuasin District were able to improve teacher professionalism in pedagogic competence, personality competence, professional competence and social competence.

The principal is a leader in educational institutions that regulates and manages educational activities in schools. Therefore, school principals play an important role in improving the quality of education, especially improving teacher performance to be more enthusiastic and professional in teaching and developing themselves who are in charge of delivering lessons to students. This study aims to identify the role of principal supervision as an effort to improve teacher professionalism in teaching at SMA Negeri 10 OKU.This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 10 OKU. The research was carried out for 3 (three) months, starting from September 2020 to November 2020. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used include: (1) Interview or Interview; (2) Observation; (3) Documentation. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the principal had a role in the supervision carried out as an effort to improve teacher professionalism in teaching. It is known: (1) The role of principal supervision is evidenced by the teacher in planning lesson plans which are made reported and approved by the principal and according to the curriculum; (2) The role of principal supervision is proven by the teacher in carrying out the learning process in accordance with the learning device guidelines and using teaching aids; (3) The role of principal supervision is evidenced by the teacher evaluating the learning outcomes and reporting to the principal; (4) The role of principal supervision is evidenced by the teacher following up on the learning outcomes in accordance with the direction of the principal; (5) The role of principal supervision is evidenced by the teacher providing guidance to students.

The leadership role of the principal in improving the quality of learning at SDN 3 Makarti Jaya, Banyuasin Regency can be said to have played a role in improving the quality of learning.As educators, school principals guide teachers how to deliver effective and efficient learning materials, as managers of principals able to optimize educational facilities, as administrators able to compile programs,as a supervisor able to compile an educational supervision program, as a headmaster leader Understand the condition of the school community, as an innovator able to implement reform (change for the better),as a motivator to be able to regulate the work / learning atmosphere, as an intreprenuer of the principal together with the school committee to work together to work creatively in extracting sources of empowerment to improve teacher professionalism,especially with regard to teachers to attend professionalism education and training as well as sending teachers to attend seminars.

PurposeSeashore Louis has enjoyed a long and productive career, contributing many key understandings to the field; among them, foundational theorizing regarding professional community, organizational learning and the role of principal leadership in organizational and student learning. In each, the role of organizational change and its bearing on school improvement has been a key focus of her research. Central to Seashore Louis' organizational change theorizing has been the contention that organizations are expected to produce outcomes (i.e. that they exist to do things), and in turn, those outcomes have consequences for the organization and its members. The purpose of this paper is to reflect on the impact her work has had on the field of educational leadership research.Design/methodology/approachThis article traces the development of Karen Seashore Louis' contribution to and work in organizational theory.FindingsBy focusing on Seashore Louis' contribution to our understanding of how professionals learn, both individually and together, and what they do with that information and knowledge, this article will synthesize Seashore Louis' contributions to understanding how change is established, enacted and experienced in schools, as well as how those understandings are informed by theorizing about the role of school culture, openness to new ideas and understandings, alternatives and multiple perspectives, and caring as it relates to leading schools.Originality/valueThe authors’ experience of learning from and with Karen Seashore Louis has deepened the authors’ own understandings of how schools work, how teachers and leaders learn, and the ways in which school organizations can thrive. Key to her influence is her ability to generate and use conceptual and theoretical lenses to explain why people act the ways they do, and how understanding those actions can help us all to improve. Her theorizing has provided the field clarity about what works, where it works and why it works while still problematizing our understandings and pushing for greater depth of understanding and analysis.

This study aims to identify and describe the role of principal leadership in improving the work discipline of teachers and employees and to find out what obstacles are the obstacles to the role of principal leadership in improving the work discipline of teachers and employees at SMP PGRI 03 Kencong, Jember Regency. Is a type of qualitative descriptive research and uses purposive sampling technique. There are five roles of the Principal and two obstacles faced by the Principal in improving the work discipline of teachers and employees. The results showed that the principal of SMP PGRI 03 Kencong, Jember Regency carried out the role of a leader by planning and deliberating; as a manager by creating collaboration between teachers and employees; as an educator by preparing a learning program plan; as an administrator by managing facilities and infrastructure as well as financial administration; motivator by providing motivation with a conducive school environment. The obstacles faced by the principal in improving the work discipline of teachers and employees are teachers and employees who are less disciplined in carrying out their duties so that it is also difficult to improve their work discipline, as well as obstacles in inadequate school facilities and infrastructure. Keywords: employees, leadership, principals, teachers, work discipline Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru dan pegawai dan untuk  mengetahui kendala apa saja yang menjadi penghambat peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru dan pegawai di SMP PGRI 03 Kencong Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Terdapat lima peran Kepala Sekolah dan dua kendala yang dihadapi oleh Kepala Sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru dan pegawai. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah SMP PGRI 03 Kencong Kabupaten Jember melaksanakan peran sebagai pemimpin dengan membuat perencanaan dan bermusyawarah; sebagai manajer dengan menciptakan kerjasama antara guru dan pegawai; sebagai pendidik dengan menyusun rencana program pembelajaran;sebagai administrator dengan mengelola sarana dan prasarana serta administrasi keuangan; motivator dengan memberikan motivasi  dengan lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif. Kendala yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru dan pegawai yaitu guru dan pegawai yang kurang disiplin dalam melaksanakan tugas sehingga kesulitan pula dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerjanya, serta kendala dalam sarana dan prasarana sekolah yang belum memadai. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the principal's interpersonal communication on the work motivation of teachers in Public High School 1 Merapi Barat. The research method used is descriptive qualitative which is specific to describing, then first of all the author will describe what the results obtained at the research location in this case are the role of the principal's interpersonal communication on the work motivation of teachers in Public High School 1 Merapi Barat. Interpersonal communication aims to convey everything about the contents of his thoughts and feelings to the communicant. The expression of the contents and thoughts and feelings if applied correctly with the right ethics will be able to prevent and avoid conflicts between individuals, between groups and even between nations so as to maintain national unity and integrity. From the analysis of this research, a leader is required to be able to communicate effectively interpersonal in order to be able to have emotional closeness between leaders and subordinates and fellow subordinates so that when the delivery of information takes place it will be easier and more relaxed in achieving the goals of information, the closeness that is owned makes the information. what is delivered is easy to accept and run. Where later these factors can increase and play a role in teacher motivation.
