<div><p><em>Global have attached very great importance to environmental protection in these decades. In this study, a new procedure using an Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) with Affinity Diagram to set up measurable indicators and determine their weights for garbage man selection system. Eighteen experts, including eleven officials and seven experienced garbage man, were incited to participate in this survey. To aggregate the result, job attitude gains the most weight (0.447), followed by garbage treatment knowledge (0.299) and physical fitness (0.254). The main contributions of this paper are: (1) to integrate the AHP with Affinity Diagram that converts the subjective cognitions of groups including officials and experienced garbage man and (2) to provide the governments with criteria to formulate reasonable regulations for garbage man selection system.</em></p></div>

The main purpose of this study was to investigate the factors that discouraged Taiwan hoteliers from applying for green hotel certification. The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method was used to perform a weighted analysis that comprehensively identified important hindering factors based on information from hotel industry, government, academic, and consumer representatives. Overall, in order of importance, the five dimensions of hindering factors identified by these experts and scholars were hotel internal environment, consumers’ environmental protection awareness, environmental protection incentive policy, hotel laws and regulations policy, and hotel external environment. Among the 26 examined hindering factor indices, the three highest-weighted indices overall for hoteliers applying for green hotel certification were as follows: environmental protection is not the main consideration of consumers seeking accommodations, lack of support by investment owners (shareholders), and lack of relevant subsidy incentives. The major contribution of this study is that hoteliers can understand important hindering factors associated with applying for green hotel certification; therefore, strategies that can encourage or enhance the green certification of hotels can be proposed to improve corporate image in the hotel industry, implement social responsibility in this industry, and obtain consumers’ approval of and accommodation-willingness for green hotels.

It is found that the traditional BDA methods are not appropriate the system target BDA. A new method of the system target BDA is proposed in this paper. Firstly, based on Hierarchy Analysis Method (AHP), the system target function index system is set up. Secondly, the step of system target function damage assessment method is analyzed and proposed based on Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP). Finally, an example of air base damage assessment is given to verify the validity and availability of the proposed method.

To classify the difficulty of the experiments is the basis of the effective mutlit-level experimental instruction. In this paper, we employ the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method to compare and analyse the difficult of the experiments, and set up a corresponding comparison judgment matrix to the difficulty of the projects. We obtain some sortings of difficulty of experiments, which coincide with the fact. Our studies offer an effective way to the rational sorting of difficulty of experiments.

The indices system for the evaluation of green degree of concrete is established based on the function, durability and environmental protection of green concrete with involving both quantitative and qualitative analyses. Primary data is processed according to the green relation theory and in the meantime, analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is adopted to achieve the weight of indices, and in this way, the levels of the evaluation is fully expressed. The calculation of the correlation coefficient of each level leads to the concrete with the highest green degree, through which the evaluation of the green degree of concrete is received. And the example in this paper also proves the feasibility of the method above.

The article discussed the demolition way of antiquated buildings and the influencing factors of strategy optimization, and then it set up the index optimization system, using fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) to determine the demolition scheme for the antiquated buildings, and ultimately selected the optimal way. Through comparison and analysis, selective demolition is the optimal choice in the demolition process of the antiquated buildings.

Green credit is not only a financial leverage which promotes environmental protection, it is also an inevitable choice for financial institutions to evade their environmental risks, and the environmental credit assessment is a critical link for implementation of green credit. Based on analysis of various factors affecting enterprises’environmental credit level, this paper designs the indicators of environmental credit assessment, and builds the model for enterprises' environmental credit assessment with AHP(analytic hierarchy process) in order to provide financial institutions with a technical method for environmental credit assessment so as to promote implementation of green credit smoothly and evade the environmental risks in the field of credit effectively.
