In this paper, test method of half-section small-scale model with indoor undisturbed soil is used to study the effect of difference disc forms on bearing mechanism of concrete disc piles and soil failure state around piles under horizontal force. The model piles with different disc cross-section forms were designed under the condition of undisturbed soil, and loading test was carried out to analyze soil failure state around the pile. The results show that: under the action of horizontal force, soil around the pile is cracked along the midline; asymmetric bearing disc is more reasonable than symmetrical bearing disc. The minimum load difference between the disc end fillet and the disc tip fillet is less than 5%. The curved end of bearing disc has little effect on the horizontal bearing capacity of concrete expanded disc pile.

The study of WJ-8 rail fastening is about the relationship between lateral horizontal force and rail’s lateral displacement, and the rail fastening’s transverse stiffness was obtained since the rail slipped. The rail lateral displacement was measured by using the loading device of rail’s lateral horizontal force which was changed as needed. Moreover, when the lateral horizontal force changes, it was analyzed that how it affected rail’s lateral displacement and rail fastening’s transverse stiffness under different bolt torque conditions. Therefore, the recommended value of transverse stiffness is acquired which is based on analyzing the test results.

The force of ship is one of the main loads which High-Piled Wharf bears, the assignation of transverse component on each bent is the precondition of the calculation which simplified the wharf structure into plane bent. The taking value of transverse component on bent influences a lot on the result of structure calculation. Nowadays, the design of High-Piled Wharf uses the value from the distribution coefficient in the Design and Construction Code of High –Piled Wharf. The results show that the distribution coefficient taken in the code is under the precondition that considering the beam is rigid; the relative stiffness of beam and pile can influence this distribution coefficient. Considering the flexibility of the beam, the distribution coefficient of the horizontal concentrated force on transverse bents will change.

Based on pseudo-static test of rowlock wall with different constructional measures by MTS loading system, the position of initial crack, distribution of crack, cracking load, failure load, failure state are studied, in order to provide test basis for the determination of economical and effective construction measures for rowlock wall. The test results show that the cracking load and failure load of rowlock wall reinforced with constructional column and tie bar, or with constructional column and horizontal reinforced concrete band, were increased significantly compared with rowlock wall without reinforcement measure. The reinforced rowlock wall has better ductility, whereas rowlock walls without reinforcement measure show obvious brittleness.
