Factors affecting the adoption of online banking services by civil servants in Cameroon was examined in this survey. Raw data were gotten through questionnaire which was distributed mostly among the civil servant in Douala of Cameroon. The analyses used in this survey were crosstabs test, descriptive analysis, factor analysis, correlation test, and regression test. The findings revealed that awareness factor has a positive and significant effect on online banking, security & trust assurance showed a negative and insignificant effect on online banking service, innovative factor displayed a negative and insignificant effect on online banking service, and customer service assurance revealed positive but has insignificant impact on online banking service. It was concluded that internet banking is difficult to understand and its time consuming among many of the users and internet fraud discourages the use of internet banking in Cameroon. Additionally, the dissemination of information through the internet is not mostly secure and efficient.

Purpose Despite the wide availability of internet banking, levels of intention to use such facilities remain variable between countries. The purpose of this paper is to focus on e-banking in a country with low intention to use e-banking – Jordan – and to explain the slow uptake. Design/methodology/approach A quantitative method employing a cross-sectional survey was used as an appropriate way of meeting the research objectives. The survey was distributed to bank customers in Amman, Jordan, collecting a total of 328 completed questionnaires. SPSS and AMOS software were used, and multiple regression and artificial neural networks were applied to determine the relative impact and importance of e-banking predictors. Findings The statistical techniques revealed that several major factors, including perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, security and reasonable price, stand out as the barriers to intention to use e-banking services in Jordan. Originality/value This study theorizes a series of implications on intention to use e-banking. It draws the attention of Jordanian banks to the full functionality of their e-banking systems, emphasizing positive safety features, which could contribute to changing negative customer perceptions. It also contributes to eliciting the theory of customer value among banks by focusing on how they should properly enhance their use of shared value. Moreover, it will present to managers how e-banking predictors can send meaningful and timely information to customers.

Background: By 2018, Malaysian mobile banking services made the third-largest amount of banking transactions, following credit card and Internet banking. In addition, it significantly contributes to the banking industry by providing easier transactions to banking consumers. This study examined factors affecting the intention to use, and the actual use of mobile banking services in Malaysia. Methods: Two main theories of the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (extended version, UTAUT2), and the model of perceived risk, were used to propose a modified framework. Based on the non-probability sampling method, the data were collected from 504 respondents. The data vas analyzed using SPSS and PLS-SEM to derive the findings. Results: The study's findings revealed that the independent variables could explain 55.3% of the variance in mobile banking use and 60.3% of variance in intention to use variables. Moreover, it demonstrated that common factors that have significantly affected the actual use and intention to use mobile banking were habit, facilitating condition, and interface design quality. In contrast, perceived risk and intention to use were found to only have significant impacts on the use of mobile banking, while effort expectancy was found to only have a significant impact on the intention to use. Conclusions: The findings of this study provide significant new knowledge on mobile banking, from which mobile banking providers and interface designers can develop potential solutions to increase the usage of mobile banking services in Malaysia. However, using a qualitative method, the proposed model could only explain 55% of actual use and 60% of intentional use. Thus, additional variables and qualitative techniques may help increase the understanding on the actual use and intention to use.

The first online banking service was introduced in Turkey by Is Bank in 1998. However, the number of internet users has been increasing rapidly in Turkey, the number of online banking users did not increase with a similar pace. Although banks are taking measures for the security of online banking transactions, many financial consumers are still concerned about the security of these transactions therefore preferring not to use online banking. This study reveals the development of internet banking in Turkey and consumer percentages. Previous research on the factors affecting the usage of e-banking are also addressed in this study. It was found that the majority of these studies focus on the correlation between the security concerns which result in avoiding to use internet banking.

The current research investigates Prospects and challenges  of Online Banking Services in Pakistan: A case Study of Karachi.Data were collected from 400 respondent using online banking practices in Karachi Sindh-Pakistan by using simple random technique. A structural Questionnaire was developed for the reliability and validity of data.In this study data of independent variable and dependent variable were collect from the customers of different banks of Karachi.It was revealed that the model tested clearly that use of online banking is influenced by channel convenience, perceived risk, security perception, prior internet knowledge and information on online banking. The results also determine that demographic factors also impact significantly on online banking. Finally, this paper suggests that an understanding the factors affecting intention to use internet banking is very important to the practitioners who plan and promote new forms of banking in the current competitive market
