The belief that the environment shapes human emotions followed by behaviour is not new, as acknowledged by many researchers. Recent studies show that the most significant illness by 2030 is depression, as most of our time spent inside the buildings. Hence, the importance of "re-connecting architecture with emotions" is an essential solution to improve the quality of life. A single-case experimental design (SCED) aimed to investigate the relationship between neural underpinnings of the brain, for a single participant and various environments. Data collected was based on the Electroencephalography tests. Findings showed a significant contrast between different water elements and environmental settings, each with its unique effect on participant emotions as well as the electrical activity of the brain.Keywords: Depression; Neural underpinnings; Water-bodies environment; Quality of Life.eISSN: 2398-4287 © 2020. Since the open space quality and quantity becomes decline in many cities of developing countries, the research means to identify the relationship between quality of public open space (POS) and quality of life (QOL) in Medan, Indonesia. The study measured the level of satisfaction of the visitors of POS by using five scale Likert Scale. The analysis shows that people perceived ‘function’ as the most significant factor for POS and ‘health’ as the most important aspect for QOL. WOM has been acknowledged as the ultimate driver for a success of restaurant business and these studies focus attributes of WOM toward purchase decision. This study focuses on the relationship between attributes of WOM towards purchase decision in Malay Upscale Restaurant. The study analyses service quality, food quality, physical environment quality and price as the focus attributes towards decision making of the Malay upscale post purchase. 300 respondents were used for this studies. A multiple regression analysis was undertaken to analyse the data. The results has shown that physical environment quality bring the most impact on the (WOM).2398-4279 © 2016. The Authors. The purpose of part II is to explain the correlation between driver's attitude and their quality of life. Based on the previous study, Attitude towards Safe Driving Scale (ASDS-46) was used jointly with and WHOQOL-BREF to examine the relationship. The result showed that ASDS-46 and WHOQOL-BREF have a high level of reliability with Cronbach's Alpha value .887 and .853 respectively. Domain 2 and 3 (psychological & social relationship) shows a positive correlation with the value of (P=.003 and .017). This study concludes that the positive correlation between driver's attitude and the psychological domain is an alarming issue which needs further investigation.Keywords:ASDS-46; WHOQOL-BREF; driver’s attitude; young adult© 2017.The Authors. Modified open-planning to define activity spaces is vital in preschool design. Children’s cognitive development is reflected in cognitive school readiness (SR). This study investigates the correlation between modified open-plan spaces and cognitive SR in Malaysian preschools. A prospective cohort study involving 378 children at 18 MOE preschools was conducted. Among all preschool physical design aspects (size, image, scale, circulation, facilities, indoor environment quality, safety, home bases, activity areas, and play yards), the quality of modified open-plan preschool spaces showed the strongest correlation with children cognitive SR (Pearson r=0.658, p=0.000). The hidden issues behind the body of Iranian architecture contain meanings, mysteries, and symbols. The aim of this article is to describe the relationship between the function of symbols of Iranian Architecture and the quality of health. This paper investigates 5 case studies namely the traditional bathhouse of Iran (TBI) from 5 cities with a particular approach to light and decorative motifs from the Ghajar and Safavid periods in Iran. The methodology used is the Delphi research with the Q factor analysis. The research was conducted in order to obtain measurement for characteristics quality of houses in Malaysia. The aim of this research was to produce the results needed for the relationship between house qualities and house prices. The methodology used in this research was primarily by AHP and Regression Analysis conducted between the characteristics and house prices. Data collection gathered through a sampling of landed terrace houses in the Klang district was incorporated for this. This study explores the practice of financial interdependence among Malay older people who live in the community in Malaysia. Eleven Malay older people participated in this qualitative study by an in-depth interview. The data was analyzed using six stages of the interpretative phenomenological analysis. Two main themes emerged from the interview transcripts are issues regarding living expenses and financial assistance. Financial interdependence is one of the most effective ways for the Malay older people in the community in Malaysia to adapt their retired status, to achieve maximum life satisfaction and productivity thereby improving their overall quality of life.Keywords: Financial interdependence, Older people, Quality of life, Interpretative phenomenological analysisISSN: 2398-4287© 2017.
