Di PT. LG Electronics Indonesia Tangerang, yang salah satu produknya adalah refrigerator atau kulkas, sering ditemukan defect PWB (Printed Wire Board) baik dalam proses perakitan maupun setelah sampai ke customer. Pengecekan PWB masih menggunakan alat manual sehingga membuka peluang terjadinya human error. Pada alat manual ini hanya terdapat LED indikator, bagus tidaknya PWB yang dicek hanya mengandalkan pengamatan operator. Pada tulisan ini  dipaparkan perancangan dan pengujian alat pengecek PWB yang bekerja secara otomatis termasuk bisa mendeteksi error yang terjadi selama proses pengecekan berlangsung. Diharapkan alat ini dapat mengurangi peluang terjadinya human error dalam pengecekan PWB dan meningkatkan efisiensi kerja bagi operator. Pembuatan alat ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap di antaranya pembuatan hardware dan sofware. Alat ini dikendalikan dengan dua buah mikrokontroler dan sebuah LCD display dan LED indikator. Alat ini digunakan untuk mengecek 4 PWB sekaligus. PWB ini  digunakan untuk mengendalikan kerja refrigerator, yaitu ON/OFF kompresor, defrost dan mengatur temperatur. Alat ini dirancang untuk mengecek fungsi-fungsi PWB tersebut. Setelah dilakukan pengujian beberapa kali, dapat dibuktikan bahwa alat ini dapat mengecek dengan benar. Jika ada PWB yang tidak beres, buzzer  berbunyi dan baik tidaknya keempat PWB yang sedang dicek ditampilkan di LCD.

Now a day’s automation is in every field, although there are many places automation has been emerged and successfully implemented but still the service provider for energy still uses conventional methods for getting the energy consumed by individual customer. This method is very time consuming and un- economical and may lead to human error. Our proposed system (AMR) will automatically send the data of the digital energy meter to the service provider with the help the help of the GSM modem once in a day and hence the system will report the service provider once in a through SMS. The same system can be used to check the last reading consumed by the consumer, when demanded by user through the same GSM modem .The device can also be used to control the load from both the ends that is (user –service provider) with the help of relay circuit and system will also be provided with an LCD display which will update the consumers with different information’s regarding tariff change or sudden power cut .

Automation is nowadays a new trend of Electronics. This automation has been implemented by the help of microcontrollers. If a microcontroller is programmed efficiently then it is capable to work efficiently as human. This era of automation has reduced so much human efforts. In this century some changes has taken place in the field of technology. The most important of those is the use of digital circuits in everywhere. The world of digitization has made things easier than before or we can say it has reduced human error in most of the areas. In our research we have made a digital thermometer by using AT89C51 microcontroller. The other components we have used are LM35 temperature sensor, Analog to Digital converter IC (ADC0804), MAX-232 IC chip for serial communication with the microcontroller and LCD display to display the temperature. We hope that this research paper will be helpful to scientific improvement in the field of making Digital thermometers to a great extent. Masalah yang terjadi adalah banyaknya temuan defect PWB (Pcb assembly,main) yang terjadi di line proses ataupun di customer . Pengecekan PWB yang sekarang ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat yang masih manual dan tidak bisa mendeteksi error yang terjadi sehingga memungkinkan terjadinya human error pada proses pengecekan. Pada alat manual saat ini hanya terdapat led indicator sehingga untuk memutuskan bagus tidaknya PWB yang di cek mengandalkan pengamatan dari operator.Dalam penelitian ini akan dibuat suatu alat pengecek PWB yang mana alat ini akan bekerja secara otomatis dan bisa mendeteksi error yang terjadi selama proses pengecekan berlangsung. Di harapkan dengan adanya alat ini akan bisa menghilangkan terjadinya human error dalam pengecekan PWB dan meningkatkan efisiensi kerja bagi operator. Dalam pembuatan alat ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap diantaranya pembuatan hardware dan sofware. Pada alat ini akan dilengkapi LCD display sebagai penampil informasi dan mikrokontroler sebagai otak dari alat ini.Mikrokontroler yang di gunakan yaitu AT89S51 sebanyak dua buah karena banyaknya port yang digunakan. Dan alat ini juga dilengkapi dengan adanya led indicator untuk mengetahui proses pengecekan yang terjadi. Dalam alat ini dapat langsung melakukan pengecekan PWB sebanyak 4 buah PWB. Sehingga mempercepat pengecekan. PWB ini mempunyai fungsi diantaranya untuk menghidupkan dan mematikan kompressor, defrost dan mengatur temperatur suhu kulkas. Pada proses pengaturan suhu terdapat tiga buah led yang mana akan berubah posisinya apabila tombol setting suhu di tekan. Pada alat ini akan mendeteksi berfungsi tidaknya fungsi dari PWB tersebut. Adapun fungsi yang akan dicek yaitu compressor, defrost dan LED control box. Dalam percobaan yang telah dilakukan alat ini mampu melakukan proses pengecekan PWB sekaligus bisa mendeteksi error yang terjadi dan menampilkannya ke LCD Display. Dan apabila terjadi error pada PWB alat ini juga akan membunyikan buzzer Kata Kunci : refrigerator, defect PWB, kompressor, defrost, buzzer

Abstract. Twin-engine propeller aircraft accidents occur due to mechanical reasons as well as human error, such as misidentifying a failed engine. This paper proposes a visual indicator as an alternative method to the dead leg–dead engine procedure to identify a failed engine. In total, 50 pilots without a multi-engine rating were randomly assigned to a traditional (dead leg–dead engine) or an alternative (visual indicator) group. Participants performed three takeoffs in a flight simulator with a simulated engine failure after rotation. Participants in the alternative group identified the failed engine faster than the traditional group. A visual indicator may improve pilot accuracy and performance during engine-out emergencies and is recommended as a possible alternative for twin-engine propeller aircraft.

In an effort to improve electricity services to customers, there needs to be a balance between the supply of electricity and revenue. Payment methods made by the Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) use Postpaid and Prepaid methods. Because services with postpaid methods better meet customer satisfaction, this method is chosen. Sales Accounting Information System is an information technology-based accounting application to support financial transactions in a company to run faster, more precisely and accurately at a reasonable cost. In its operation, it takes competent human resources to not be a source of problems (human error) and adequate infrastructure. To overcome the obstacles that will arise, whether triggered by the application or by the human resources themselves, it is necessary to control both aspects. Based on this research it shows that the application  of  Sales Accounting Information Systems and existing human resources is sufficiently supportive  and  reliable  in  supporting the creation of good control as it is proven that the level of acceptance of sales targets is realized effectively and efficiently.

Due to the different characteristics of the piece goods (e.g. size and weight), they are transported in general cargo warehouses by manually-operated industrial trucks such as forklifts and pallet trucks. Since manual activities are susceptible to possible human error, errors occur in logistical processes in general cargo warehouses. This leads to incorrect loading, stacking and damage to storage equipment and general cargo. It would be possible to reduce costs arising from errors in logistical processes if these errors could be remedied in advance. This paper presents a monitoring procedure for logistical processes in manually-operated general cargo warehouses. This is where predictive analysis is applied. Seven steps are introduced with a view to integrating predictive analysis into the IT infrastructure of general cargo warehouses. These steps are described in detail. The CRISP4BigData model, the SVM data mining algorithm, the data mining tool R, the programming language C++ for the scoring in general cargo warehouses represent the results of this paper. After having created the system and installed it in general cargo warehouses, initial results obtained with this method over a certain time span will be compared with results obtained without this method through manual recording over the same period.
