Material Management has always been a major challenge in the world of industry, especially the world of gas transportation. Poor on material planning, limitationon material supply the length of lead time delivery of materials is often a major constraint on the operational productivity. The obligation to maintain the reliability of the instrument to ensure smooth gas supply to consumers remains to be one of the challenges in maintaining productivity. These efforts will not be successful if the company is not able to increase the flexibility of the material supply chain. Not Providing Information Regarding Details Material stock, remoteness Distance Between warehouse and Station, Not Providing Information Details on stock Material, remoteness Distance Between warehouse and Station, and manual data collection worsen the problem tha couldt cause the error on calculating material stock, moreover the problem become more complicated by the lack of collaboration of material information that should be known by the user as the material user on  field and  planners as a warehouse supervisor. One solution to the problem is to develop the Material Traceabillity Strategy- A technology that can replace manual data entry process that still use paper as a recording media, allows personnel to track and manage the material in real time, Improve Information Sharing among divisions. This paper will discuss the problems and solutions that are applied in order to improve the reliability of materials that can improve supply chain collaboration in the handling of the material. This paper emphasizes the importance of the revolution in material handling in oil & gas transportation company that has been applied and proved successful in PT. Pertamina Gas Eastern Java Operation Area.

Internal material supply management for manufacturing workshops usually suffers from message delay and abnormal logistics events, which seriously holdback the reactivity capability of production system. As a rapid, real-time, accurate information collection tools, Radio Frequency identification (RFID) technology has become an important driver in the production and logistics activities. This paper presents a new idea that uses RFID technology to monitor real-timely the abnormal logistics events which occur at each work space in the internal material supply chain and proposes its construction method in details. With the experimental verification of prototype system, the proposed RFID-based monitoring system can find in time the abnormal logistics events of internal material supply chain and largely improve the circulation velocity of production logistics, and reduce the rate of mistake which frequently occurred in traditional material management based on Kanban.

Recently, Halal food has drawn remarkable attention of many consumers around the world. Besides to being unsafe, Halal food such as meat can encounter several issues throughout its supply chain and logistics. At any time, Halal integrity is not guaranteed and risks of becoming non-Halal is the major concern of all parties along the supply chain. To respond to Muslim consumers’ trust concerns in Halal food, many traceability systems were proposed in previous studies based on emerging technologies and  recommended to be incorporated into Halal food supply chains. Nevertheless, all of these systems are centralized, opaque and not enough transparent. To mitigate these problems, blockchain technology is introduced as a ground-breaking innovation with greater decentralization, visibility and transparency. This paper makes a major contribution in suggesting Halal meat supply chain traceability system for real-time food tracing based on embedding Islamic dietary law into HACCP, blockchain and Internet of Things.

Materials required for precast fabrication are dissimilar to those cast at construction sites. Fabricators who lack materials must wait until specific suppliers deliver the required materials. The objective of this study is to reduce total material management costs in the supply chain system through the most advantageous transshipment strategies. A material supply chain framework that enables fabricators to implement lateral transshipment is first proposed. Transshipment strategies are then formulated into a mathematical model. The most advantageous transshipment strategies are analyzed using computer simulation. Diverse order lead times, demands, transportation costs, and shortage costs are simulated to approximate operational conditions encountered in supply chain systems. Through various experiments, the most advantageous strategy for precast fabrication industry can be found. In addition, four rules are developed based on simulation results to enhance transshipment decision making. This research is one of the pioneering studies applying lateral transshipment to precast production management.

Abstract Background Frequent outbreaks around the globe and endemic appearance in different parts of the world emphasize the substantial risk of hantavirus diseases. Increasing incidence rates, trends of changing distribution of hantavirus species and new insights into clinical courses of hantavirus diseases call for multinational surveillance. Furthermore, evidence-based guidelines for the management of hantavirus diseases and scoring systems, which allow stratification of patients into risk categories, are lacking. Methods Hantavirus registry (HantaReg) is a novel registry platform facilitating multinational research of hantavirus-caused diseases, such as haemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) and hantavirus cardiopulmonary syndrome (HCPS). HantaReg provides an electronic case report form and uses the General Data Protection Regulation compliant platform clinicalsurveys.net, which can be accessed from any internet browser in the world. Having a modular structure, the registry platform is designed to display or hide questions and items according to the documented case (e.g. patient with HFRS versus HCPS) to facilitate fast, but standardized, data entry. Information categories documented in HantaReg are demographics, pre-existing diseases, clinical presentation, diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, as well as outcome. Conclusions HantaReg is a novel, ready-to-use platform for clinical and epidemiological studies on hantavirus diseases and facilitates the documentation of the disease course associated with hantavirus infections. HantaReg is expected to promote international collaboration and contributes to improving patient care through the analysis of diagnostic and treatment pathways for hantavirus diseases, providing evidence for robust treatment recommendations. Moreover, HantaReg enables the development of prognosis-indicating scoring systems for patients with hantavirus disease.
