One hundred combatants’ families were surveyed in order to identify the features of psychosocial functioning of the demobilized combatants and their wives and to compare them with the satisfaction of the respondents’ marital relations, to determine the possible sources of maintaining the balances family interaction and objectives for further psycho-corrective work. It was found that despite that all the examined men had previous psychotraumatic experience, and most of them had psychic disorders of post-traumatic content, caused by the post-stress response, the married couples who were satisfied with their family relationship (28%) showed the success of psychosocial functioning by all the investigated criteria (problems with social functioning, social and psychological adaptation, quality of life) as compared to those married couples who were dissatisfied with marital relationships (72%). The obtained data will become the basis for the development of a complex of means of psycho correction and psychological support for the combatants’ families.

The aim of this study was to investigate the quality of marital relations and family performance in parents of children with autism in 110 different questions. In this test, the coefficient was examined on 10 scales in 8 items. 51 families with at least one child with autism in Iran was tested. To assess the quality of marital relationships, marital adjustment, and family functioning, all parents completed the AMSS (Afrooz Marital Satisfaction Scale) questionnaire. The study, which looked at families' satisfaction with autism, found that there was a significant relationship between the quality of marital relationships and mental health in families with children with autism, based on all our hypotheses. This study and other similar studies show that families need ongoing programs. These programs include identifying, finding solutions, and providing direct advice to families. In this program, we will see a reduction in stress and conflict among families with autism, a correct and thoughtful approach to family members, and people with autism. This program should be done in groups and separately in autism centers and other psychological and counseling offices.

549 Background: Treatment for germ-cell tumors (GCT) may lead to long-term consequences in GCT survivors. This study aimed to evaluate a long-term sexual functioning after curative treatment for GCT. Methods: GCT survivors (N = 155) from a national cancer centre completed a Sexual Function Questionnaire that was modified from PROMIS Sexual Function and Satisfaction Questionnaire at a median 10 years of follow up (range 5-32) as a primary exploratory aim. Seventeen survivors (11%) had orchiectomy alone (controls), while 138 (89%) survivors received treatment beyond orchiectomy. The study group consisted of survivors receiving a cisplatin-based chemotherapy, radiotherapy to the retroperitoneal lymph nodes or both, while the control group included survivors treated with orchiectomy only. Results: Survivors treated with both chemotherapy and radiotherapy or any treatment had difficulty maintaining erection during the intercourse compared to the controls (both P = 0.04). Moreover, patients who received chemotherapy and radiotherapy reported difficulty in achieving orgasm during the intercourse ( P = 0.04) and they were disappointed with their overall quality of sex life ( P = 0.002). No difference in education, employment, marital status and parity was observed between the study groups (all P > 0.05). GCT survivors reported no differences in their sexual desire and in the number of attempts to initiate sexual intercourse in the last month. Survivors from all treatment groups reported none or mild anxiety resulting from sexual relationships and the desire to be sexually active was moderate among all subgroups, with no significant difference. Conclusions: Our prospective study shows that an impairment insexual function is a significant issue for long-term GCT survivors. Treatment with chemotherapy plus radiotherapy had the highest impact on the quality of sex life.
