The research on community empowerment in the protection and utilization of ancient towns has practical significance for the sustainable development of ancient towns. Combined with empirical research, questionnaire survey, this paper analyzes the residents’ awareness of empowerment in the community participation of tourism, taking Zhujiajiao ancient town as a case study. Firstly, the evaluation system of community empowerment is established from four dimensions, including economy, society, politics, and psychology. Secondly, the weights of various factors are calculated by using the analytic hierarchy process, and the status quo of community tourism empowerment is comprehensively evaluated by the fuzzy analysis method. The results show that the degree of community empowerment in Zhujiajiao ancient town is between “average” and “good”. Psychological empowerment has the best score, while political empowerment is relatively weak. So, the dilemma of the top-down participation system needs to be changed. Self-government tourism organizations and the rules of income distribution should be established along with the ability training of tourism management to optimize the community participation mechanism. Application of the analytic hierarchy process to ancient town tourism empowerment is a new attempt and the evaluation scale can be used to other similar sites. Strategies in this paper have referential value for tourism sustainability in practice.

For e-commerce companies, it is easier to obtain a large amount of aggregated data about user behavior with the help of embedded network platforms, which contains valuable information that helps to form effective decision-making. This article first gives a detailed introduction to the evaluation and selection of e-commerce and suppliers; then puts forward the analytic hierarchy process and entropy method; finally, the AHP analytic method is used to build a supplier evaluation system and a selection system. The experimental results of this paper show that after obtaining the entropy AHP weights through the analytic hierarchy process, these 8 suppliers can be ranked and selected. Using the ABC classification method, classification is based on the ranking of suppliers. Among them, Class A suppliers account for 12.5%, which plays a key role in the construction of the evaluation and selection system of e-commerce suppliers.

Railway heritage (RH) conservation protects significant industrial culture and can be instrumental in revitalizing post-industrial economies. China has abundant RH resources needing conservation to ensure their long-term survival. The purpose of this study was to define the value of RH based on an improved value evaluation system, discuss how the results influence RH tourism, and provide proposals for sustainable tourism accordingly. Firstly, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) was used to evaluate the value of six RH sites from China’s First Industrial Heritage List. Then, the value advantages of the RH sites were analyzed by making comparisons among the six in the view of sustainable development, and the correlative details were interpreted to demonstrate the strengths and advantages of each resource. Finally, recommendations for RH tourism development were put forward based on these value advantages. The findings indicate that analyzing value advantages among similar resources in a competitive setting strengthens conservation and development decisions. Thus, balanced and sustainable development of RH tourism can be accomplished.

When the evaluation system of regular sports events is applied to evaluating large-scale sports events, there is a shortage of the coverage rate of events evaluation and the low calculation precision of events economic evaluation index. This paper proposed the evaluation system of large-scale sports events based on the analytic hierarchy process. Firstly, we construct the evaluation system of large-scale events. Secondly, we determined the evaluation principles and evaluation procedures of events. The proposed model implies a fuzzy standard form system to get an optimal network structure, eliminate conflict rules, and trim nodes and links. The economic indicators of events are evaluated according to the content of events, such as financial cash flow, net present value, and profit margin of events. We also analyzed the evaluation of the content of social benefit and calculated the social impact assessment index to realize the evaluation of large sports events based on the analytic hierarchy process. According to the test data, the evaluation system’s performance is better than the traditional evaluation system, and the coverage is increased by 47.85%. The accuracy of the events economic evaluation index is improved by 32.45%. It is more applicable to the evaluation of large-scale sports events.

Based on brand model and core dimensions analysis, Chinese fashion customization brand can be classified to three main kinds. Deeply interview and questionnaires faced to specialists, core customers and relative employees in fashion customization field contribute to the choice of four aspects of brand elements and nineteen sub-degree indexes. Then Chinese fashion customization brand elements evaluation index hierarchical structure can be built, which depends on the analytic hierarchy process. Simultaneously, core customization design elements can be extracted from the result of weights calculation.
