AbstractThis research was instigated by the low of students creative thinking ability at State Senior High School 1 Perhentian Raja. This research aimed at knowing the effect of implementing Guided Inquiry learning model with student workbook toward student creative thinking ability on Colloid lesson at State Senior High School 1 Perhentian Raja.  It was Quasi Experimental research.  Simple Random Sampling technique was used in this research.  The samples comprised two classes, the eleventh-grade students of Natural Science 1 that were 33 students as the Control group and the students of Natural Science 2 that were 32 studentsas the Experimental group. The techniques of collecting the data were tests in the form of homogeneity test as the preliminary data, pretest and posttest as the final data, observation, and documentation. The instrument of this research was creative thinking ability test in the form of essay with the indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The pretest and posttest data were analyzed by using t test at 5% significant level.  The research findings showed that there was a significant effect of implementing Guided Inquiry learning model with student workbook toward student creative thinking ability on Colloid lesson that t was 4.268 and the score of Sig. The main objective of this research is to produce junior high school Physics teaching materials oriented to a simple practical tool that can be used to foster junior high school students 'creative thinking skills, with the specific aim of knowing the indicators of junior high school students' creative thinking skills that can be grown through the use of a guided inquiry learning model assisted by a simple practicum tool. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with the design of Equivalent Pretest-Posttest Design (Design of Prates-Pascates Equivalent). This research was conducted at the Labschool Junior High School of Tadulako University where  the class VIII students being the research subjects. The research instrument used was an essay test and observation sheet. The data analysis technique used was quantitative data analyzed by inferential statistics, calculating the significance of the differences in the average of both groups of samples and qualitative data analyzed by using the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that a guided inquiry learning model assisted by a simple practicum tool could foster the creative thinking skills of the students of Labschool UNTAD Junior High School in the indicators of flexible thinking, fluent thinking and originality.

The purpose of this research is to measuring the comparison of students creative thinking ability between cooperative learning model type Stuctured Numbered Heads (SNH) and Numbered Head Together (NHT) on nomenclatur of chemical compounds material in curriculum 2013 of grade X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Bengkulu city school year 2017/2018. This research is a quasi-experimental research with total population 118 students and sample 57 students with class X MIPA D as experiment class I that apply cooperative learning model type SNH and class X MIPA B as experiment class II applying cooperative learning model type NHT. Analysis of the data used are mean values, Percentage Indicator, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test (t test). The students' creative thinking ability in this study is seen from the difference between pretest and posttest. In the experimental class I, the average value of students creative thinking ability was 51,851 while the experimental class II was 46,916. The result of t test (? = 0,05) obtained tcount> ttable is 2,645> 2,0040 indicates the accepted hypothesis  means that there is a significant difference between students' creative thinking ability using cooperative learning model type SNH and NHT, where the model of cooperative learning type SNH is more influential on students’ creative thinking ability compared with cooperative learning type model NHT.

The aims of this research were to analyze science process skills of students using scientific inquiry Learning Model is better than science process skills of students using conventional learning, analyze science process skills of students who have high category in creative thinking ability better than low category in creative thinking ability, and analyzethe interaction between scientific inquiry learning and the level of creative thinking ability in improving the science process skills. The research type was quasi experiment and two group pretest-posttest designs were used in this study. The population of the study was grade X of SMAN 1 Stabat Academic Year 2014/2015. The sample was chosen by using cluster random class technique. The sample was divided into two classes, the experiment class taught by scientific inquiry and control class taught by conventional learning. The instrument was consisting of science process skills test and creative thinking ability test. Data in this research was analyzed by using two way ANOVA. The results of this research showed that the scientific inquiry learning model was better than conventional learning in improving the students science process skills, the science process skills of the students who had high category in creative thinking ability was better than low category, and there was interaction between scientific  inquiry learning model and the level of creative thinking ability in  improving students science process skills.

The purpose of this research is producing physics learning material through guided inquiry model with Mind Mapping technique that valid, practical, and effective to improve comprehension of concept and creative thinking ability of student in junior high school. The development of learning material used the Kemp model and was try outed in class VII of SMP Al Azhar Syifa Budi Samarinda, second semester in academic year 2013/2014 with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The data collection used observation method, test, and quetionnaires. The data analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research are: 1) Learning material developed has a valid category; 2) The practicality of learning material in terms of a good category in feasibility of lesson plans and the students’ activities in accordance with steps of guided inquiry model with Mind Mapping technique; and 3) The learning material effectiveness in terms of: (a) Improving students comprehension of concept seen from the N-gain score with high category; (b) Improving creative thinking ability of student by getting the N-gain score with high category; and (c) The students’ responds toward material and implementation of learning are very positive. It’s conclusion that the learning material through guided inquiry model with Mind Mapping technique are decent to improve comprehension of concept and creative thinking ability of student in junior high school. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran fisika model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan teknik mind mapping  yang valid, praktis dan efektif (layak) untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model Kemp dan diujicobakan di kelas VII SMP Al Azhar Syifa Budi Samarinda semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/2014 dengan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, tes, dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Temuan hasil penelitian, yaitu: 1) Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berkategori valid; 2) Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori baik dan aktivitas siswa sesuai dengan tahap-tahap pada model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan teknik mind mapping; dan 3) Keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari: (a) Peningkatan penguasaan konsep siswa yang terlihat dari N-gain dengan kategori tinggi; (b) Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang terlihat dari N-gain dengan kategori tinggi;  dan (c) Respon siswa terhadap perangkat dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran sangat positif. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perangkat pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan teknik mind mapping yang dikembangkan layak untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP.

This research aims to see how effect of HOTS-oriented worksheets on heat and kinetic theory of gases on students' critical and creative thinking ability with guided inquiry model in grade XI SMA Al-Istiqamah Pasaman Barat. The type of research used is quasi-experimental. In this research, two classes were used as the sample class, where class XI IPA 1 was the experimental class and class XI IPA 2 was the control class. The difference in treatment between the two classes is that in the experimental class the product given is HOTS-oriented worksheets while in the control class the product given is conventional student worksheets in schools. For the treatment equation in the two classes, the learning model used is the guided inquiry learning model. The technique for collecting data was a written test with HOTS oriented questions. Critical and creative thinking skills are the basis for assessment in this research. The results of the study after being given treatment in both classes found that the highest skill score between the two classes was the value obtained by the experimental class. Based on the research that has been done, it is concluded that after being given treatment to the sample class, there is an increase in students' critical and creative thinking skills for each indicator. The improvement of students' critical and creative thinking skills on each indicator got higher results in the experimental class than the control class.

Abstract The ability to understand concepts is very important and becomes the basis for supporting the solving of mathematical problems. The connection between one concept and another concept and one topic with another topic is a characteristic of learning mathematics. The relationship requires that each student must have the ability to understand the concepts well, but it cannot be denied that the ability to understand mathematical concepts is still low, as happened to theLangke Rembong 4Junior High School students. Learning innovation needs to be done to achieve a good understanding of concepts. This study aims to compare the understanding ability of mathematical concepts of students who follow a guided inquiry learning model with students who take direct learning. The research design uses Posttest only control group design. The population is all eighth grade students of Langke Rembong 4 Junior High School, totalling230 students. Sampling is done by random sampling with equality test between classes.It is then obtained class VIII A as the experimental class and class VIII C as the control class. Data collection uses tests in the form of description questions. Data analysis uses t-test with normality test and homogeneity test for the assumptions. The results show that the students who follow the guided inquiry learning have higher understanding of  mathematical concepts than those who are taught with direct learning model.
