Mixed-ligand complexes of Vanadium (IV, V) with 2,6-dithiol-4-methylphenol (DTMP) and hydrofobamins(Am) have been studied by spectrophotometry. Extraction of mixed ligand complexes is maximal at pH 3.8-5.3. The optimal conditions for the formation and extraction of mixed-ligand compounds have been found and the ratios of components I the complexes have been determined. The Beer’s law was applicable in the range of 0.04-3.6mg/ml.The method is free from common interferences. A procedure has been developed for extraction – spectro-photometric determination vanadium in soils andin oil and oil-products.

Mixed-ligand complexes of Cobalt(II) with dithiolphenol (DP) {2, 6-dithiolphenol (DTP) and its derivatives (2, 6-dithiol-4-methylphenol (DTMP), 2, 6-dithiol-4-propylphenol (DTPP), 2, 6-dithiol-4-tert-buthylphenol (DTBP)} in the presence of aminophenols (AP) have been studied by spectrophotometry. Extraction of mixed ligand complexes is maximal at pH 4.1-6.5. The optimal conditions for the formation and extraction of mixed-ligand compounds have been found and the ratios of components I the complexes have been determined. The Beer’s law was applicable in the range of 0.2-20 μg/ml. The effect of foreign ions and reagents on the extraction was studied. The method is free from common interferences. A procedure has been developed for extraction – spectroand#172;photometric determination cobalt in different objects (in steel, sewage water, bottom sediments, food and soil samples).

Based on benzoylacetone synthesized 1-phenyl-2- [2-hydroxy-3-sulfo-5-nitrophenylazo] 1,3-butadione (PHSNPAB). Studied complex formation of copper (II) with 1-phenyl-2- [2-hydroxy-3-sulfo-5-nitrophenylazo] 1,3-butadione (PHSNPAB) in the presence and absence of the third component such as cetylpyridinium chloride (CPCl), cetylpyridinium bromide (CPBr) and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTMABr). Single ligand complexes are formed at pH = 3, λ = 444nm, and mixed ligand complexes at pH = 2 λ = 456, 454, and 461 nm, respectively (CPCl, and CPBr, CTMABr). İdentified the relations of the reacting components in homogeneous composition of Cu-R (1: 2) and mixed ligand Cu-R-CPCl (1: 2: 2), Cu-R-CPBr (1: 2: 2) and Cu-R-CTMABr (1 2: 1) complexes, which concentration interval subordinated to Beer's law. The influence of external ions and masking substances on complex formation was studied. Method for the photometric determination of copper in the rocks was established.

The present investigation has been undertaken to examine complex formation by thallium (I) derivatives of 2-nitro phenol (ONP), 2,4-dinitrophenol (DNP), 2,4,6-trinitrophenol (TNP), 1-nitroso-2-naphthol (1N2N), 8-hydroxyquinoline (8HQ), and 2-aminobenzoic acid (OABA) with Isonitrosoethylmethyl Ketone. They have general formula [ML (HL′)], where M = Tl (I), L = deprotonated ONP, DNP, TNP, 8-HQ, 1N2N and OABA and L′ = Isonitrosoethylmethyl Ketone. Isonitrosoethylmethyl Ketone is ambidentate ligand and can donate through oxygen or nitrogen or both. The preparation of mixed ligand complex with the thallium (I) salt of 2,4-dinitrophenol and 2,4,6-trinitrophenol with the Isonitrosoethylmethyl Ketone (INEMK) have very low yield.
