In the article „Pan Tadeusz” by Adam Mickiewicz: „old” – „new” reading, the author presented the contextual reading of the epic at school through the prism of the works of Czesław Miłosz (metaphysical and epaphysical reading) and Tomasz Różycki (postmodern epic). The adopted perspective allows us to show the timelessness of the works of Czesław Miłosz (metaphysical and epaphysical reading) and Tomasz Różycki (postmodern epic). The adopted perspective allows us to show the timelessness of the work of a romantic artist, the value of narration as a story about Poland and Poles, as well a story about an individual’s fate and its search for a universal meaning of one’s own existenc.

The title of the present monograph refers to one of the most fundamental traits of the oeuvre and literary life of Adam Mickiewicz. While constantly occupied with invigorating and broadening the subject- -matter of his works, Mickiewicz is careful to follow a steady track of ideas, concepts, and truths. In constructing successive models of poetic worlds and varying them even within single works, he incessantly integrates them into a dynamic, open universe of the ‘man of transformations’ (in Wacław Borowy’s phrasing) in accordance with the ontic position and experience of a Romantic writer. Diversity and variance of poetic forms in Mickiewicz is counterbalanced by his leaning towards regularity and structural connectedness: cycles. As early as his first critical manifesto, he opposes a schematic labeling of his creative output; he presents the history of European poetry in terms of overlapping traditions and gradual differentiation of national literatures.

I am going to show how government statements are sometimes hard and complicated for parents, teachers and other specialists, who are looking after the children with special educational needs. I try to show everyday life in my job – teacher, specialist of pedagogical therapy. I hope my article will help and change our reality.

Aneta Jarzębińska, Od diagnozy do towarzyszenia w żałobie – wsparcie rodzin z dzieckiem z wadą letalną [From the diagnosis to the accompanying in mourning– support from the families of children with lethal defect]. Interdyscyplinarne Konteksty Pedagogiki Specjalnej, nr 22, Poznań 2018. Pp. 375-391. Adam Mickiewicz University Press. ISSN 2300-391X. DOI: https://doi.org/10.14746/ikps.2018.22.21 This article characterizes the interactions and institutions in which parents can receive support after their child has been diagnosed with a lethal defect. First and foremost parents need information and emotional support when making decision regarding their child. The primary source of the aforementioned elements is the hospital personnel and the perinatal hospice- that is if parents decide to contact it. If the child is born alive and discharged from the hospital then the parents require support during its treatment (which more often than not is identical with palliativecare) and rehabilitation, even social rehabilitation. Children’s hospices can offer many services in this particular matter. On each stage of the child’s disease the contact with other parents of children with lethal defect is crucial. They can negate the feeling of isolation, give practical advice regarding the situation and most of all give hope that even though the prognosis is fatal some of the children lived.
