Cyclotriarsanes are rare and limited synthetic approaches have hampered reactivity studies on these systems. Described in here is a scalable synthetic protocol towards (AsAr)<sub>3</sub> (Ar = Dip, 2,6-<sup>i</sup>Pr<sub>2</sub>-C<sub>6</sub>H<sub>3</sub>; Tip, 2,4,6-<sup>i</sup>Pr<sub>3</sub>-C<sub>6</sub>H<sub>2</sub>), which allowed to study their reactivity towards [Cp<sub>2</sub>Ti(C<sub>2</sub>(SiMe<sub>3</sub>)<sub>2</sub>], affording titanocene diarsene complexes and towards N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) to give straightforward access to a variety of NHC-arsinidene adducts. The electronic structure of the titanium diarsene complxes has been studied and they are best described as Ti(IV) species with a doubly reduced As<sub>2</sub>Ar<sub>2</sub> ligand. These findings will make (AsAr)<sub>3</sub> valuable precursors in the synthetic inorganic and organic chemistry.

Humans use different domain languages to represent, explore, and communicate scientific concepts. During the last few hundred years, chemists compiled the language of chemical synthesis inferring a series of “reaction rules” from knowing how atoms rearrange during a chemical transformation, a process called atom-mapping. Atom-mapping is a laborious experimental task and, when tackled with computational methods, requires continuous annotation of chemical reactions and the extension of logically consistent directives. Here, we demonstrate that Transformer Neural Networks learn atom-mapping information between products and reactants without supervision or human labeling. Using the Transformer attention weights, we build a chemically agnostic, attention-guided reaction mapper and extract coherent chemical grammar from unannotated sets of reactions. Our method shows remarkable performance in terms of accuracy and speed, even for strongly imbalanced and chemically complex reactions with nontrivial atom-mapping. It provides the missing link between data-driven and rule-based approaches for numerous chemical reaction tasks.

Three-dimensional slurry printing is a promising tool for making ceramic object but it limits in high dense ceramic powder because of poor suspension capacity. This study uses zirconia powder with an average diameter of 2 μm because its density is 5.67 g/cm3. A treatment protocol is proposed to improve the suspension capacity of zirconia powder including the ball milling, surface modification and resin blending. Experimental results show that adding 1% of isostearyl titanate, a coupling agent, for surface modification can enhance the lipophilicity of zirconia powder. Mixing surface modification powder in resin with a weight ratio of 7:3 and carrying on ball milling with 100 RPM for 6 hours can obtain the diameter of powder less than 400 nm. As a result, the zirconia slurry can obtain good suspension capacity which is over 48 hours.

Polyphenols are secondary metabolites of plants and include a variety of chemical structures, from simple molecules such as phenolic acids to condensed tannins and highly polymerized compounds. Caffeic acid (3,4-dihydroxycinnamic acid) is one of the hydroxycinnamate metabolites more widely distributed in plant tissues. It is present in many food sources, including coffee drinks, blueberries, apples, and cider, and also in several medications of popular use, mainly those based on propolis. Its derivatives are also known to possess anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antitumor, and antibacterial activities, and can contribute to the prevention of atherosclerosis and other cardiovascular diseases. This review is an overview of the available information about the chemical synthesis and antioxidant activity of caffeic acid derivatives. Considering the relevance of these compounds in human health, many of them have been the focus of reviews, taking as a center their obtaining from the plants. There are few revisions that compile the chemical synthesis methods, in this way, we consider that this review does an important contribution.
