This article deals with the paradigms of constructivism and hermeneutics in modern educational and pedagogical discourse in order to justify the developing function of education. The theoretical provisions of constructivism, on the basis of which man constructs reality, and hermeneutic understanding, expressed through the concept of construction , are presented in the works of domestic and foreign researchers. The method of communication between the learner and teacher is considered as an awakening learning, as a construction based on reflection and understanding in the context of activity and deep ethics. An example of the use of constructivism in linguodidactics based on the fundamental concept oflearner autonomy is given.

In classical philosophy of time, present time mainly has been considered in its fleetingness: it is transition, in the Platonic meaning of the sudden or in the Aristotelian sense of discreet moment and isolated intensity that escapes possible perception. Through the idea of subjective constitution of time, Husserl’s phenomenology tries to spread the moment. He transcends the idea of linear and empty time in modern philosophy. Phenomenological description of time experience analyses the filled character of the moment that can be detained in the performance of consciousness. As a consequence of the temporality of consciousness, he nevertheless remains in the temporal conception of presence. The phenomenology of Merleau-Ponty, however, is able to grasp the spacial meaning of presence. In his perspective of a phenomenology of perception, presence can be understood as a space surrounding the body, as a field of present things given in perception. Merleau-Ponty recovers the ancient sense of ‘praesentia’ as a fundamental concept of being in the world.

Much criticism has been made of Paul Hervieu, and all too frequently, it would seem, his drama has been labelled as thesis plays. Too often, such opinions are based upon little more than a familiarity with certain of his plays (Les Tenailles, La Loi de l'Homme, Le Réveil, etc. which, detached from his work as a whole and read without consideration of the author's fundamental concept of man as a social creature, do seem strongly to bear the imprint of social reform. However, to many, such classifications, even for the plays mentioned above, will appear entirely unwarranted when the plays are studied in the light of what one inevitably comes to feel—after studying the man and his whole work—are the author's essential and sincere beliefs concerning man and his behavior in society. Unlike some writers of his own period who professed a similar faith and who unquestionably were impelled primarily by the desire for social reform, Hervieu sincerely believes that man's own nature stands as an insurmountable barrier to reform. Such a conviction could never become a welcomed guest in the mind of one who so earnestly longed for a more optimistic view of life; and, in my opinion, it is this unwelcomed conviction that leads him at all times to emphasize the tragedies of life in a manner that to some has suggested reform. If we understand him, however, he is primarily concerned with the tragedy in each case; and he offers no suggestions or corrections, because reform is untenable in his belief.

The article considers discursive competence (DC) as a component of intercultural and communicative competence. Discourse is the fundamental concept of DC, and knowledge of the types and genres of discourse is a necessary condition for its formation. Of interest to the authors of the article is a typology of discourses, the creator of which is the Russian scientist V.I. Karasik. In this typology, along with other discourses, pedagogical discourse (PD) is presented, which is of particular importance for research, since the addressee in this work is students of pedagogical specialties of a language university. PD is considered as a type of institutional discourse, and its components such as participants, chronotope, goals, values, strategies and genres are analyzed. Communicative strategies of pedagogical discourse are studied from the perspective of what genres they can be represented. A questionnaire was conducted among third-year students in order to identify the most popular pedagogical discourse genres in teaching. As a result, it was established that they are discussion, report, debate, conversation. The discussion is considered in the framework of the PD, and the scenario of its conduct is described with the aim of forming the discursive competence of students

Abstract Gamification can help to increase motivation for various activities. As a fundamental concept in HCI, gamification has connections with various fields involving mixed reality, health care, or education. This article presents the expertise of 106 gamification specialists who participated in four workshops called “Gam-R — Gamification Reloaded.” The extraction of current and future trends in gamification is the result of this. Four general topics, four in-depth topics, and seven emerging fields of application for gamification are depicted and enriched with the current state of research to support interested academic scholars and practitioners. Technical and less technical areas, which are the fields of work and research in gamification, are demonstrated. Some areas are already trending, while others are just beginning to show a future trend.
