The purpose of this research is to know the influence of compost TKKS and NPK 16:16:16 on the breeding of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) in Main Breeding with Sub Soil Ultisol Media. This research has been conducted in the field of Agriculture Faculty of the Islamic University of Riau. for 4 months, starting from April to August 2017. The design used in this research is Factorial Random Design (RAL) consisting of two factors, the first factor is Giving of empty palm fruit bunch compost (Factor K) consisting of 4 levels ie not giving empty bunches of palm oil (K0), giving compost of oil palm empty bunch 90 gr/plant (K1), 180 gr/plant (K2) and 270 gr/plant (K3), and NPK 16:16:16 Fertilizer (Factor P) consisting of 4 levels ie not giving fertilizer (P0), NPK 16:16:16 15 g/plant (P1), 30 gr/plant (P2), 45 gr/plant (P3) and 60 gr/plant (P4). The parameters observed in this study were the increase of plant height (cm), the increase of the number of stem (strands), the length of the longest stem length (cm), the increase of girth (cm), the number of root root (root) and root length (cm). The result of the research showed that the interaction of TKKS compost and NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer gave a significant effect on the plant height increase, the increase of midrib, the length of the longest bark and the increase of girth. Combination of best treatment on compost TKKS 270 g/plant and NPK 16:16:16 60 g/plant (K3P4) fertilizer. The main effect of TKKS compost and NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer gave a significant effect on all parameters in the range of plant height, the increase of midrib, the length of the longest stem, the increase of girth, the number of root roots and the longest root length. With the best treatment is the compost TKKS 270 g/plant (P3) and fertilizer NPK 16:16:16 60 g/plant (P4).

The purpose of this research was to find Pugam T and Urea interactions on the growth for Oil Palm in Pre Nursery to Peat Soil. The research was arranged in Completely Randomised with two factors and three duplications. This first factor was to find Pugam T (P) on four levels: 0 kg/ha (P0), 750 kg/ha (P1), 1000 kg/ha (P2) and 1.250 kg/ha (P3), the second factor was Urea (N) on four levels: 0 g/l (N0), 1 g/l (N1), 2 g/l (N2) and 3 g/l (N3). The results show the experiment of treatments Pugam T and Urea was significantly on the parameters: plant height, the stem of diameters, weight fresh of plant and root lengths of primers. The heighest yield to parameters of plant height in old 4,8 and 12 MST (10,57 cm, 31,03 cm and 35,00 cm), stem of diameters in old 4,8 and 12 MST (0,57 cm, 0,66 cm and 0,90 cm), weight fresh of plant (16,8 g) and root lengths of primers (26,08 cm). Obtainable on the treatments to find Pugam T as big as 1.250 kg/ha and Urea as big as 3 g/l (P3N3).

The in vitro organogenesis of embryos of type-variety (‘Albescens’, ‘Nigrescens’, ‘Virescens’ and ‘Idolatrica’) of the oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) with growth regulators was studied. Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium, supplemented with nine treatment concentrations of Naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) and 6-Benzylaminopurine (BAP), alone and in combinations, was used to initiate embryo cultures of the type-variety. Data were collected on time of root production, root length, plant height, number of leaves and number of roots.  The results obtained indicated that there were swelling and expansion of the matured zygotic explants in cultures within 7 and 14 days after culture initiation (DCI). Time of root production did not vary significantly among type-variety, but differed significantly (p < 0.001) due to growth regulators, whereas their interaction effect was non-significant. Root length and plantlet height significantly varied (p < 0.05) due to type-variety and growth regulators, as well as their interaction. There were no significant variations among type-variety on number of leaves and roots produced at 84 DCI, but there was significant (p < 0.05) variations on number of leaves and non-significant variance on number of roots due to growth regulators. The type-variety combined with growth regulators effects on number of leaves and roots were not significant.  In the present study, the responses of the various type-variety in the regeneration of plantlets in vitro varied with respect to media supplementation and that low concentration of NAA and BAP, alone and in different combinations, favoured root, leaf and plantlet production in MS medium.

Surahman H, Sulaksono G, Sembiring Z, Kurnianingsih A, Priadi DP, Asmono D. 2020. Effect of plant gowth regulator on the gowth of zygotic embryos in three types of oil palm fruit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) in tissue culture. Jurnal Lahan Suboptimal : Journal of Suboptimal Lands 9(2): 149-159.Embryo culture is a widely used and effective way of overcoming the dormancy nature of seeds in oil palm.  At the germination stage, the influence of gowth regulators play an important role although in relatively lower concentrations in the germination media. This aim research determined the effect of adding various concentrations of gowth regulator on the three types of oil palm fruit based on the thickness of the shell. This research carried out at the Tissue Culture Laboratory of PT. Sampoerna Ago Tbk. from September 2018 to January 2019. The gowth regulator substances used in this study were NAA, BAP and GA3. The composition of the gowth regulators used were H1 = 0.05 mg/L NAA + 0.1 mg/L BAP + 0.1 mg/L GA3, H2 = 0.05 mg/L NAA + 0.3 mg/L BAP + 0.1 mg/L GA3, H3 = 0.05 mg/L NAA + 0.5 mg/L BAP + 0.1 mg/L GA3 and H4 = No gowth regulator. While the types of oil palm fruit used were C1 = Dura, C2 = Tenera and C3 = Pisifera. This research used a factorial complete randomized design with three replications. The results showed that in general the use of gowth regulator substances H1 = 0.05 mg/L NAA + 0.1 mg/L BAP + 0.1 mg/L GA3 and the type of dura fruit showed positive results based on viability, scoring, survival and height of plantlets when compared with other treatments.

Penunasan influence and NPK fertilizer production plant Phonska against oil palm (Elaeis guineensis jacq). The aim of research to determine the effect penunasan, Phoska NPK fertilizer and its interaction with the production of oil palm plantations. Research carried out for 4 months, starting from May to August 2010. The location of the research in the Garden State Agricultural Polytechnic Pilot Samarinda. Research arranged in a randomized block design (RAK) with 2 x 4 factorial experiment 3 times the number of replicates. The treatment consists of two factors: The first factor is Penunasan (P) which comprises, namely: p0 = without penunasan, p1 = with penunasan. The second factor is Phonska NPK fertilizer which consist of 4 levels, namely: m0 = 0 kg / plant, m1 = 0.5 kg / staple crops, m2 = 1.0 kg / plant, m3 = 1.5 kg / plant. The results showed the treatment penunasan very significant effect on the weight and number of TBS TBS. Penunasan best treatment on p1 (with penunasan). , NPK fertilizer treatment Phonska very significant effect on the increase in production of oil palm plantations. There is interaction between treatment penunasan with NPK fertilizer production peningkataan Phonska against oil palm plantations.
