The hippocampus is a critical region of the brain involved in memory and learning and is composed of layered, interconnected regions. Despite the importance of understanding normal hippocampal anatomy for studying its functions and disease processes that affect it, didactic educational visualizations are severely limited. To help graduate students and scientists better understand and visualize the human hippocampus, a web-based interactive resource was created that included a 3D animation and manipulatable 3D models of hippocampal regions. These resources allow users to expand their comprehension of this complex anatomy.

Kata kunci: Blender, Huis Van Behauring, Virtual, Tour, Unity 3D   Abstract Bengkalis is one of the areas that as several Dutch history heritage in the past, the importance of conservation efforts and the introduction of the site encourages to build an interacticve information media. To promote the information about historical heritage can be done in various ways, one of the way is with the support of interesting 3D visualisation so that users can find out the historical relics found in Bengkalis. The Huis Van Behauring prison museum located on the Pahlawan Bengkalis street will be loaded into web-based. Virtual tour will display 3D animation of the building of the provide information about the history of the building through a website, so that imformation can be submitted in general. 3D Virtual tour objects will be built using Unity 3D and Blender software to produce a Virtual tour of the Huis Van Behauring (Jeil Dutch) prison museum of Bengkalis city-based interactive website. . Keywords: Blender, Huis Van Behauring, Virtual tour, Unity 3D

This work deals with the development and testing of a low latency Animation Transmission Technology (ATT) for augmented reality applications. This web-based transmission system based on AutoBahn Pyhton web server and WebSocket LibrarY (WSLAY) integrated clients has been studied to reduce packet header size and to simultaneously allow a large number of Users to interact with each other. The transmission system in the proposed system architecture allows motion sensor’s acquisition software to easily send compressed 3D quaternion-based data from transmitter to the rendering softwares at receiver side to generate real time 3D animation on an avatar. Furthermore, effects of lossy compression of quaternion data and server limitation have also been considered. Initial simulation test results with the Python server alongside WSLAY integrated clients with virtual motion sensors have been presented in this work. It has been evaluated that the network delay (ND) has a huge improvement from more than 300 ms to less than 25 ms at 100 Hz sensor sampling rate once lossy compression of 3D quaternion data is implemented. Furthermore, the effect of motion sensor sampling frequency and broadcast server limitation on maximum number of simultaneous users/sensors is also described in this work.

Mobile tools are increasingly available to help individuals monitor their progress toward health behavior goals. Commonly known commercial products for health and fitness self-monitoring include wearable devices such as the Fitbit© and Nike + Pedometer© that work independently or in conjunction with mobile platforms (e.g., smartphones, media players) as well as web-based interfaces. These tools track and graph exercise behavior, provide motivational messages, offer health-related information, and allow users to share their accomplishments via social media. Approximately 2 million software programs or “apps” have been designed for mobile platforms (Pure Oxygen Mobile, 2013), many of which are health-related. The development of mobile health devices and applications is advancing so quickly that the Food and Drug Administration issued a Guidance statement with the purpose of defining mobile medical applications and describing a tailored approach to their regulation.
