An XY-T Recorder is a measuring equipment that function to record data of statical-testing result and it is shown in the form of graphs. The graphs of appearance indicate actual-condition of output censor such as Loadcell (Force),LVDT(deflection), Strain gauge (Strains) or Pressure. Design and manufacture of XY-T Recorder based in this digital is intended to satisfy the limit of XY-T Recorder analog available in B2TKS. The result of calibration shows certain calibration of 0.13% at the level trust of 95% with the factor k=2 and it indicates the accuracy to be fairly good. The result of experiment has displayed output of graphs with pattern and value magnitudes of relatively equal to the XY-TRecorder analogKeywords : XY-T Recorder digital, statical-testing, XY-T Recorder analog, CalibrationAbstrak XY-T Recorder adalah suatu alat ukur yang berfungsi untuk merekam data hasil uji statis yang ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik.

The electrical measurement of strain is an art which has been developed gradually over a considerable number of years. It will be realised that the electrical measurement of strain includes the electrical magnification and measurement of a strain indicated by a non-electrical pick-up, such as a mechanical strain gauge, as well as the case of pure electrical measurement in which the pick-up unit itself operates electrically. The principal reasons for the popularity of electrical gauges are their ability to record data at a station remote from the point of application of the gauge, thus allowing gauges to be attached in positions which would be inaccessible for direct measurement by mechanical or optical means, and the high dynamic response of the electric gauge which renders the gauge invaluable for dynamic work.

Along with the CAD technology being popularized, three-dimensional design of aircraft is ultimately realized into digital design. However, aircraft tolerances have not been designed by computer. They are mainly based on lots of manual calculations and not coordinated with integrated design and hold back the development of aircraft digital design and manufacture technologies. This paper introduces how to develop computer-aided aircraft tolerance analysis and distribution modules on UG and introduces Monte Carlo tolerance analysis technology. Running instances of aircraft tolerance design are illustrated in the paper.

Through the late Twentieth Century, leading vehicle manufacturers increasingly eschewed the drive from mass production and instead focused upon lean production, where output has been determined according to demand. Automotive manufacturers no longer stockpile parts, but vehicles are now made to order, and in doing so the automotive industry has attained flexibility within production; a factor that has historically been unattainable with the simplistic rationalities of mass-production. Automotive manufacturers are now guided with digital design tools, and have further addressed the complexities of flexible production and the modular composition of the 21st Century automobile. Through the utilisation of digital design tools, digital collaboration, organisational capabilities and product technologies the 21st century automobile has successfully shown the world that highly complex products can be produced both efficiently and effectively, with versatility and high craft. The building industry has not been so swift to exploit the opportunities offered by digital lean production; often still constructing in the same laborious manner it has done so for hundreds of years. Digital lean production offers strategies for exerting efficient, sustainable design within contemporary architecture. Through the design of a flexible dwelling, this thesis establishes how the principles of digital, lean production can be utilised within Building Information Modeling to address the issues of speed and precision within the design and manufacture of contemporary architecture.

The paper presents a platform architecture of digital design and manufacture for Printing and Die-Cutting Machinery of Corrugated Board (PDMCB) based on Multi-Agent System (MAS) to improve the design and manufacture efficiency of PDMCB. In the first, the framework of digital design and manufacture platform for PDMCB has been developed based on the technology of MAS and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) after analyzing the characteristic of digital design and manufacture system for PDMCB. Secondly, the agents’ functions of the MAS developed for PDMCB are defined and the communication ways between agents are illustrated by Unified Modeling Language (UML). Finally, the prototype system for PDMCB digital design is developed with JADE. The framework brought out in the paper will provide some references to develop the platform of digital design and manufacture for PDMCB.

The structure and drive principle of rolling swing movable teeth transmission was introduced. The theoretical and actual profile of central wheel was synthesized by methods of complex vector. Numerical model of central wheel was constructed and its profile curve was analyzed. Virtual model and assembly of swing movable teeth was made based on the software of PRO/E. The central wheel was manufactured on NC machine and a prototype of rolling swing movable teeth drive was made.
