We proposed a new method of chemical reaction spectrum (CRS) in terms of chemical characterization, and established a method to fulfill it by combining with 3D chemical printing technology and 2D sampling. The CRS can provide a graphical data set for pure or mixed substances, which can comprehensively describe the reaction characteristics of the research object. Compared with common characterization methods (NMR, UV/vis, IR, Raman, GC or LC), it is more capable of revealing chemical behaviors enough, and is much lower in cost. It is expected to be an important data acquisition approach for the application of artificial intelligence in the field of chemistry in the future.

Hydrophlogopite, a regular interstratified mineral with 1:1 ratio of vermiculite and phlogopite crystal layers, was modified with sodium and organically intercalated with HDTMAB, and then the samples were examined with XRD. Based on the theoretical geometric dimensions of organic cations, the structure and arrangement model of HDTMA+ cation in the interlayer space of vermiculite crystal layers were studied, the reaction mechanism of organic intercalation was also discussed. The results show that HDTMA+ cations enter into the interlayer space of vermiculite crystal layers only without exchange with the cations in the interlayer space of phlogopite crystal layers, and that the arrangement models of HDTMA+ cations in the interlayer space of vermiculite crystal layers varies with the added amount of HDTMAB. When the added amount is small, the arrangement model of HDTMA+ cations in the interlayer space of vermiculite crystal layers is lateral-bilayer, and when the added amount is larger, the arrangement model is paraffin-type monolayer.

Due to the Portland cement chemical reaction, which always takes place in a hardening concrete, a certain amount of heat is released. This heat should be quantified, as it can harm or aid the concrete itself, depending on the concrete components, structure element, ambient and building site conditions. There are number of possible setups for the monitoring of heat of hydration, two of which have been applied in the case presented in this paper. Four concretes were monitored with the use of the two stated techniques for 24 hours. First technique used is thermo-vision camera which monitored the surface, and the second is thermosensor - used for monitoring of interior of fresh concrete hardening mass. The potential of the applied setup lays in the ease of installation, low price, and possibilities of mass application, which could substantially aid the monitoring and prevent concrete failure.
