Dalam pembelajaran Administrasi Server membutuhkan infrastruktur dan spesifikasi yang lengkap seiring dengan kebutuhan server yang semakin meningkat. Dengan mengatasi kendala kendala infrastruktur, Cloud Computing menawarkan infrastruktur server yang lebih efisien dan fleksibel. Salah satu platform yang menawarkan infrastruktur dan spesifikasi server adalah Openstack. Teknologi komputasi awan dibangun menggunakan sistem operasi Ubuntu Server 18.04 dan versi Victoria dari platform penerapan OpenStack dengan Devstack. Hasil tugas akhir ini diimplementasikan dan digunakan di laboratorium jaringan. Openstack dapat menjalankan 30 pengguna. Pembuatan instance berdasarkan ragam ukuran m1.nano, m1.micro, cirros256, m1.tiny, ds512m, ds1G, dan m1.small. Gambar yang digunakan pada instance adalah cirros-0.5.1-x86_65-disk dan Ubuntu Server 18.04.

Cloud computing telah menjadi hal yang menarik untuk dibahas dikarenakan perkembangannya yang begitu pesat sejak pertama kali diperkenalkan mulai tahun 2000. Pemanfaatan cloud computing kepada penyimpanan data, pemakaian software secara bersama- sama serta penggunaan infrastruktur dan hardware pada jaringan atau komputer yang tergabung dalam sebuah cloud computing. Dengan cloud computing diharapkan adanya efesiensi dan kemudahan dalam  sumber daya baik software, data maupun hardware agar dapat digunakan bersama – sama. Perancangan cloud computing untuk laboratorium komputer Teknik Elektro Universitas Bangka Belitung bertujuan sebagai rancangan awal untuk pengembangan laboratorium komputer serta sebagai pusat pembelajaran dan penelitian cloud computing bagi mahasiswa Teknik Elektro. Perancangan cloud computing ini menggunakan metode Software as a Service (SaaS) dimana SaaS adalah layanan dari Cloud Computing dimana memakai software (perangkat lunak) yang telah disediakan sehingga tidak perlu setiap komputer di laboratorium menginstall software yang diperlukan selama tersedia di layanan Cloud Computing. Rancangan cloud computing di laboratorium menggunakan Private Cloud Computing merupakan pemodelan Cloud Computing yang memberikan lingkup yang lebih kecil untuk dapat memberikan layanan kepada pengguna tertentu misalnya pada sebuah jaringan komputer  lokal maupun pada skala perusahaan kecil maupun menengah.

For several years cloud computing has been generating considerable debate and interest within IT corporations. Since cloud computing environments provide storage and processing systems that are adaptable, efficient, and straightforward, thereby enabling rapid infrastructure modifications to be made according to constantly varying workloads, organizations of every size and type are migrating to web-based cloud supported solutions. Due to the advantages of the pay-per-use model and scalability factors, current video on demand (VoD) streaming services rely heavily on cloud infrastructures to offer a large variety of multimedia content. Recent well documented failure events in commercial VoD services have demonstrated the fundamental importance of maintaining high availability in cloud computing infrastructures, and hierarchical modeling has proved to be a useful tool for evaluating the availability of complex systems and services. This paper presents an availability model for a video streaming service deployed in a private cloud environment which includes redundancy mechanisms in the infrastructure. Differential sensitivity analysis was applied to identify and rank the critical components of the system with respect to service availability. The results demonstrate that such a modeling strategy combined with differential sensitivity analysis can be an attractive methodology for identifying which components should be supported with redundancy in order to consciously increase system dependability.

Even though public cloud providers already exist and offer computing and storage services, cloud computing is still a buzzword for scientists in various fields such as engineering, finance, social sciences, etc. These technologies are currently mature enough to leave the experimental laboratory in order to be used in real-life scenarios. To this end, the authors consider that the prime example use case of cloud computing is a web hosting service. This paper presents the architectural approach as well as the technical solution for applying elastic web hosting onto a private cloud infrastructure using only free software. Through several available software applications and tools, anyone can build their own private cloud on top of a local infrastructure and benefit from the dynamicity and scalability provided by the cloud approach.

One of the most important technological evolutions of our time is CLOUD COMPUTING, which describes the web computing power to store and process the information. The evolution and advancements are swiftly increasing in remote monitoring and Telemedicine. This paper aims at transmitting the physiological parameters of the subject to the private cloud called Thing Speak, an IOT based Sensor monitoring system. The physiological parameters are sent to the cloud via ESP8266 (IOT device). The cloud computing helps the physician to be connected with the patient’s data and it is helpful in monitoring the patients at any time through internet.

Multicast is a technique for one-to-many communication over the network. It plays important role in cloud computing and reduces the transmission overhead in the private cloud environment. In this paper, build an efficient multicast tree for the multicast routing problem in which a network consists of different categories of nodes, where each category can have one or more nodes of the same characteristic which is different from the characteristics of nodes from other categories. So it is used to reduce the message traffic in such a network, to build a multicast tree and minimize the queuing delay using multicast selection algorithm.
