Background: Social capital has an important role in empowering entrepreneurship activities and performance improvement inhuman resources. This study aimed to examine the relationship between social capital and entrepreneurship behavior of academic members of Qazvin University of Medical Sciences in 2018. Methods: The present study is a descriptive cross-sectional method conducted among all faculty members working in Qazvin University of Medical Sciences in 2018. In order to collect study data, two standard questionnaires including social capital scale (Nahapiet & Goshal 1998) and entrepreneurial behavior (Leon Daes Zamptakis and Vasiliss Mustakis 2007) were used. Data were analyzed using descriptive and analytical statistical methods in SPSS version 20. Results: The results of the study showed that social capital and entrepreneurial behavior had a desirable condition. Furthermore, these two variables were statistically correlated (P-value < 0.05). Conclusion: Promoting the level of social capital in academic environments has significant benefits and a positive impact on entrepreneurial behaviors of academic members of the university. Therefore, managers should strengthen this key element in their organizations to upgrade their professional job performance.   Key words: Social Capital, Entrepreneurial Behavior, Faculty Member of the University.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to measure the relationship between organizational social capital and retention of faculty members in Kerman University of Medical Sciences in 2011. Design/methodology/approach – Using a stratified multistage sampling, 120 faculty members were recruited to fill the questionnaire. Findings – There were a direct and positive bilateral (r=0.65) relationship between social capital and retention of faculty members. Originality/value – The university officials and policy makers need to pay closer attention to some issues such as providing welfare facilities, salary and wages, benefits, interests and appreciation for faculty members.

The study aimed to identify the relationship between creative leadership and organizational conflict management among department heads from the viewpoint of faculty members at Wasit University. In order to find out the differences according to the variables of gender and specialization, the study sample consisted of (200) male and female teachers from the study population, they were chosen by the simple random method, and the researcher adopted the descriptive correlative approach to conduct the study. The two tools of the study consisted of a questionnaire of (40) items to measure lateral leadership and (36) items to manage organizational conflict prepared by the researcher. The results of the research data were analyzed using the (SPSS) program, The results of the research showed that the degree of creative leadership practice of academic department heads was high, and the results indicated that the level of organizational conflict management for academic department heads was high, and there was a positive relationship between the practice of creative leadership and the level of organizational conflict management for department heads from the viewpoint of faculty members at Wasit University and in In light of the results of the research, the researcher presented a number of recommendations, including continuity in maintaining the degree of practice of creative leadership and management of organizational conflict, as well as deepening and increasing awareness of the importance of creative leadership, and continuity in raising awareness of organizational conflict management methods through training and informing them of the advanced and renewable global experiences and proposing to conduct similar studies in Iraqi universities‎. Background: The knowledge and experience sharing of faculty and staff at universities and research institutes with their communities is a key element of success in achieving the organizational goals. Faculty members play a key role in universities. Accordingly, recognizing the importance of this capability in faculty members, this study aimed to investigate the status of knowledge and experience sharing based on the Ajzen model in faculty members at the ShahidBeheshti University of Medical Sciences in 2018. Methods: This descriptive-analytical study was conducted with 300 faculty members at the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences using stratified random sampling and simple random sampling. Data was gathered using a researcher created questionnaire and the analysis was conducted using SPSS 25 and LISREL 8.8. Results: The results showed that the significance level of a test for the relationship between knowledge and experience sharing components was less than α = 0.05, and there was a positive and significant correlation between knowledge and experience sharing components in faculty members at the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. Most of the respondents’agreement regarding "knowledge and experience sharing" were related to behavioral control(mean=3.87; SD=0.353), behavior (mean=3.56; SD=0.328), attitude (mean=3.30; SD=0.344)subjective norm (mean=3.16; SD=0.435) and intention (mean=2.76; SD=0.284). Conclusion: This tool can be used by managers and university presidents to manage and translate knowledge in medical sciences universities.
