The financial information system for local Government or SIPKD regulation in Indonesia are mandatory. There have been several innovations on it, but in practice mostly they were not effective in term of user acceptance due to several obstacles. This study investigates the modified Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory proposed with the institutional strengthening theory on the user performance of SIPKD. Supported by the sample of 556 SIPKD users from the Lampung Provincial Government, the results showed that all constructs are associated in accordance with the theory and concept of TAM. The quality of training had a dominant effect on the ease of use and usefulness. Related to the reinforcement theory, the results showed that facilitating conditions and incentives affect the performance of SIPKD users. Meanwhile, institutional pressure did not show its role to improve the performance of users. The main findings revealed that the TAM model becomes more perfect when imbued with the reinforcement theory. These results suggest that information system acceptance is higher when reinforcement theory is able to manipulate the cognitive of users to further improve their individual performance.JEL Classification E60; H83; M48

Purpose -Response to the sudden pandemic, COVID-19 drastic shift of work practices requires the implementation of an e-learning system, but their adoption requires a thorough understanding of the user acceptance process. Our key effort is to incorporate a framework, “internet experience” to determine the existing Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) applicability in describing students’ s e-learning decisions in Haryana state. Design/methodology- The researcher has administered a questionnaire based on TAM’s constructs and collected data from UG and PG students of Haryana state of India. Findings – The results revealed that perceived usefulness (PU) has a significant positive relationship with continuous usage intention (CUI) whilst, perceived ease of use (PEOU), computer self-efficacy (CSE) and internet experience (IE) have not. Attitude towards E-learning system (ATELS) has found no relevance in this model. Originality/value Majority research has been done using the TAM model in a developed nation. Empirical study has not been done in Haryana state so far.

This research aimed to contribute to the overall understanding of pre-service teachers’ acceptance of the Digital Storytelling (DS) tool. The primary associations of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) were tested in the academic years 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 for statistical significance when the effects of the pre-service training teachers' digital age and status were controlled. Data from 296 pre-service teachers, from second and third study year, majority women considered vulnerable group were collected. The factor analysis and invariance tests on basic TAM were performed. The results revealed that DS tool usage intention was a function of perceived usefulness and ease of use. This research established the TAM applicability with the control variables addition to model the DS tool acceptance by pre-service teachers, as didactic material for natural sciences and technology education. Configural, metric, and scalar invariance were confirmed across both cross-temporal and cross-sectorial groups. Perceived ease of use of DS has strongly influenced both usefulness (β=.571, t=11.958, p<.0001) and intention to use of DS (β=.763, t=19.914, p<.0001), under the influences of the control variables. The outcomes contributed to the general understanding of DS pre-service teachers’ adoption relevant for natural sciences and technology education and for recognition of vulnerable category behavior. Keywords: digital storytelling tool, natural sciences didactics, technology education didactics, pre-service teachers’ digital age, pre-service teachers’ status, TAM model.

The research conducted aims to examine the effect of facility conditions and social influences on the technology acceptance model (TAM) construct consisting of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward using, behavioral intentions to use, and actual use to GoPay and OVO consumers. This research was conducted on students who are actively studying at Tarumanagara University, Trisakti University, and Atmajaya University who are also GoPay and OVO users in April 2019. The sampling technique used is based on the Slovin formula. Source of research data is the result of the distribution of questionnaire instruments, where the assessment of the response of each sample is measured using a Likert scale. The results of data collection are then analyzed using the structural equation model. The results of the study prove that the condition of the facility and social influence as an external variable in the TAM model under study has a positive effect on perceived ease and perceived benefits. The results of this study explain that the better the facilities, which include facilities and infrastructure in the use of GoPay and OVO as e-money, as well as the more people who use GoPay and OVO will tend to have an impact on the formation of perceptions of convenience and perceptions of benefits that are increasingly positive so as to encourage individuals to have a positive attitude and greater interest to use GoPay and OVO to help with the activities or activities undertaken.

In order to survive in today’s global competitive environment, businesses have to use information systems during management and production processes. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is developed by Davis (1989). According to this model, the use of a new information system depends on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness variables. This study analyzes the factors that affect the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, which is an information system, in the frame of TAM variables. 236 companies that use these information systems participated in the survey. It is determined that, eleven independent variables, which are taken into consideration in the scope of user characteristics, innovative characteristics, organizational and environmental characteristics factors, have statistically meaningful and positive effect on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness which represent TAM parameters. Similarly, it is determined that, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness have a positive and statistically meaningful effect on the use of ERP.
