Abstract JESSOP JS Alloy G-3 is a nickel-base alloy having excellent resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions including stress corrosion. Its low carbon content and stabilization by columbium permit welding without deterioration of corrosion resistance in the heat-affected zone. The alloy is well suited to fabricated equipment for chemical processing and pulp and paper industries.
