Abstract Allegheny Ludlum AL600 alloy is a nickel-chromium alloy designed for use from cryogenic up to 2000 F(1093 C) temperatures. Its nickel content provides resistance to reducing environments and stress-corrosion cracking. Its chromium affords resistance to mildly oxidizing conditions. It has excellent resistance to oxidation to about 2000 F(1093 C). This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep.
