Abstract CALITE N is a high nickel-chromium alloy for general heat enduring applications under the most severe temperature conditions. It is immune to oxidation up to maximum metal temperatures of 2100 F. Its high ductility imparted by high nickel content makes Calite N valuable where uneven heating or rapid irregular temperature changes are unavoidable. Highly resistant to carburization. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-7. Producer or source: Calorizing Company.
