Adult intussusception (AI) is uncommon condition that represents 1-5 % of intestinal obstruction and is frequently caused by an underlying disease with 70-90% of cases having a demonstrable cause based on imaging findings and surgical results. The most common causes of colonic AI are neoplasm. We report a case of right colo-colic intussusception sustained by a malignant tumor.

We report a case of carpal tunnel syndrome as a result of an extraosseous chondroma in a 47-year-old gentleman. This case demonstrates the importance of clinical examination and occasional radiographs in this not uncommon condition. We also highlight that this well known entrapment syndrome is not only caused by the common causes that we all know, but also any space-occupying lesion in the carpal tunnel compressing the median nerve.

Objective. The hypermobile lateral meniscus of the knee is a rarely described entity. In this case report we aim to draw attention to the clinical presentation and MR imaging findings of this pathology.

Case Report. We review the clinical and imaging findings that led to the diagnosis of hypermobile lateral meniscus with transient subluxation causing intermittent locking, and which subsequently led to successful surgical treatment.

Conclusion. Hypermobile lateral meniscus is rarely diagnosed prospectively on MR imaging. A better understanding of this uncommon condition will lead to prompt diagnosis and effective treatment, with a better outcome for the patient.

Background. Meckel’s diverticulum is a vestigial remnant of the omphalomesenteric duct that in most cases (53%) is diagnosed in the first two years of life. Case report. A variety of complications are related to Meckel’s diverticulum including bleeding, intestinal obstruction, but in adults, the most important complication is intestinal obstruction. We reported Meckel’s diverticulum in a 92-year-old woman with symptoms of intestinal obstruction including abdominal pain, vomitus, and abdominal distention who referred to the hospital emergency. Imaging findings showed intestinal obstruction and laparotomy showed that the cause of intestinal obstruction was Meckel’s diverticulum. Finally, Meckel’s diverticulum was resected and the patient recovered. Conclusion. Intestinal obstruction because of a large Meckel’s diverticulum in an elderly woman is rare and requires a high attention for diagnosis, and it is almost discovered by surgery.

Presacral myelolipomas are rare, benign, asymptomatic tumors composed of mature adipose tissue and hematopoietic elements, but fewer than 50 cases have been reported in the literature. They are usually discovered incidentally during imaging studies and are often misdiagnosed as liposarcoma, which have a malignant nature, because the imaging findings of myelolipoma can be similar to those of liposarcoma. It is challenging to distinguish presacral myelolipomas from other presacral fat-containing tumors without performing a histological examination. We should consider the possibility of a malignant tumor, and imaging-guided biopsy carries a risk of tumor spread along the biopsy tract. Therefore, surgical management might sometimes be required; however, it is not necessary in all cases. We present an incidentally detected case of presacral myelolipoma that was difficult to differentiate from other malignant tumors in a 71-year-old male.

Although oophorectomy for ovarian metastasis from colorectal cancer is encouraged to improve the prognosis, that is also performed to relieve the symptom such as abdominal distention. We report a surgical case of intestinal obstruction due to ovarian metastasis after ileocecal resection for cecal cancer diagnosed at 77 years old.

We report an unusual case of intestinal obstruction. The child presented with intermittent abdominal pain. Initial USG abdomen and CT abdomen were inconclusive. Diagnostic laparoscopy followed by Laparotomy was done to remove bezoar made up of a rubber band and thread balls. Iron and zinc deficiencies are the preventable causes of pica. Plasticobezoars are rare and should be suspected when symptoms are not consistent with other common causes of obstruction.
