The article analyzes the approaches to the definition of design culture as an important component of professional future labor training and technology teachers training. The peculiarities of formation the students design culture in the process of working on design projects are revealed. It is substantiated that scientific and theoretical tasks promote the development of students' interested and respectful attitude to design science and methodology of project creativity, independence in solving problems of project activity, search for a new methods of its implementation. The ways of successful realization of students’ project activity tasks and the basic stages in development of design projects, work on which promotes their design activity are covered. Ways of realization of project technology for the purpose of formation at future teachers of labor training and technologies of design culture which allows to carry out a number of graphic, practical, search and design works, and also allows to form and consolidate knowledge of computer graphics and methods of labor training and promotes development of project and technical thinking. After all, working on a design project opens up opportunities for students to master generalized, aggregate knowledge that can make them free from onesided development and accelerate the expansion of their worldview. The essence of design education as an educational and game designed activity of learners is revealed, which provides synthesis of sensory (sensory, visual), verbal (verbal), structural (material, smell-taste-touch), information analogues (design elements, informatics). , technology) in order to form a propaedeutic information culture of the individual, because design education involves the introduction of the basics of design as a discipline with great educational potential in the entire education system, not only in vocational design, so in the process of design education training, education, development and formation of a person with project thinking. This article presents the approaches to the understanding of the concept of «art-technology», describes the shape of the art technology for the formation of design culture of future teachers of labor studies; formulates author's definition of the art technology. The aim and the result of this study is to justify the methods of using art technologies in professional design training of future teachers of labor studies. The article is devoted to the consideration of ways to solve one of the actual problems in theory and methodology of training and upbringing — the problem of developing professional skills of future informatics teacher. As a way to adapt students to the profession, the possibility of their involvement in social designing was chosen. Participation in social projects contributes to the approbation and introduction of new forms and methods in teaching informatics. Expanding the experience of future teachers in carrying out large-scale events contributes to the formation of a socially adapted personality competitive in modern society. The potential of a social project in consolidating the knowledge and skills obtained during the theoretical training at the university is indicated. In the article, theoretical reasoning is accompanied by examples of real social projects and activities aimed at the formation of professional competencies of future informatics teachers.

This article addresses one of the most actively developing types of design activities – light design. The article comprises quotes of the leading Russian and foreign light design specialists published over the previous five years, as well as the authors’ own conclusions. The thoughts quoted in the article are sometimes opposite to each other and reflect the wide spectrum of professional practice. They reflect the initial opinions of analysts and experts which are often diverging. All of the specialists point at the interdisciplinary nature of the new profession, which imposes additional load on a designer overloaded enough already by the scope and speed of the problems being solved nowadays. The discussion of the new profession of light designer initiated on the pages of professional publications is especially important in view of the development of professional standards and standards of design and architectural education, as well as creation of new educational programmes based on various approaches to the subject in technical and humanitarian institutions. The goal of this article is to introduce light design into the field of fully legitimate sections of design culture, to define the authentic scientific basis of the new creative profession, to initiate a foundation for self-determination of the new synthetic area, which materially affects the state of the profession as a whole and the life standards of a wide variety of consumers. In order to reach the set goal, a comparative and analytical method of study was selected, which allows studying the problem to a large extent and from all angles and finding the ways of overcoming the challenges emerging in the area of the new activity.
