Problems in the process of manned agricultural aerial spraying, such as heavy workload in route planning, overlaps or omissions in spraying seriously reduce the efficiency of spraying and utilization rate of pesticides. This paper presents the design and development of a navigation system for manned agricultural aerial spraying based on an industrial tablet PC. This system provides three key functions: route planning, spraying navigation and real-time evaluation of spraying quality. The test and application results show that this system has high efficiency in route planning, and the average coverage rate of spraying could reach as high as 96%. Its application effect is remarkable, and as a result, this system can meet the demand of manned agricultural aerial spraying in route planning and navigation.

Currently, the traffic congestion is a significant problem encountered in urban development, which should be resolved depending primarily on the management and deployment under the circumstance that road construction isn't able to keep the pace of automobile growth. WSNs (Wireless sensor networks), made up of numerous sensor nodes, form a multi-hop and self-organizing cellular system by wireless communication, which can realize real-time monitoring and collecting environmental information by cooperation. The BeiDou Satellite Navigation System of China can provide users with high precision, as well as all-weather and real-time positioning and navigation information. It can be widely used in many applications. However, new challenges appear with the expansion of the 5G communication system. To eradicate or weaken the influence of various errors in BeiDou positioning, a BeiDou satellite positioning algorithm based on GPRS technology is proposed. According to the principles of the BeiDou Satellite navigation system, the navigation and positioning data are obtained and useful information are extracted and sent to the communication network through the wireless module. The error is corrected by establishing a real-time kinematic (RTK) mathematical model, and the pseudorange is calculated by carrier phase to further eliminate the relativistic and multipath errors. Based on the results of error elimination, the BeiDou satellite positioning algorithm is improved and the positioning error is corrected. The experimental results show that the positioning accuracy and efficiency of the algorithm can meet the actual needs of real-time dynamic positioning systems.
