This article is an advanced approach to picture fuzzy set through the application of cubic set theory. For instance, we establish the idea of the picture cubic fuzzy sets (PCFSs) theory and define several operations for PCFS. Also, presented some weighted aggregation operators under picture cubic fuzzy information, so called picture cubic fuzzy weighted averaging (PCFWA) operator, picture cubic fuzzy order weighted averaging (PCFOWA) operator, picture cubic fuzzy weighted geometric (PCFWG) operator, and picture cubic fuzzy order weighted geometric (PCFOWG) operator. Further, we study their fundamental properties and showed the relationship among these aggregation operators. In order to determine the feasibility and practicality of the mentioned new technique, we developed multi-attribute group decision -making algorithm with picture cubic fuzzy environment. Further, the developed method applied to supply chain management and for implementation, consider numerical application of supply chain management. Compared the developed approach with other preexisting aggregation operators, and we concluded that the defined technique is better, reliable and effective.

<p>The green chain supplier selection process plays a major role in the environmental decision for the efficient and effective supply chain management. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to develop a mechanism for decision making on green chain supplier problem. First, we define the Hamacher operational law for Pythagorean cubic fuzzy numbers (PCFNs) and study their fundamental properties. Based on the Hamacher operation law of PCFNs, we defined Pythagorean cubic fuzzy aggregation operators by using Hamacher t-norm and t-conorm. Further, we develop a series of Pythagorean cubic fuzzy Hamacher weighted averaging (PCFHWA), Pythagorean cubic fuzzy Hamacher order weighted averaging (PCFHOWA) Pythagorean Cubic fuzzy Hamacher hybrid averaging (PCFHHA), Pythagorean Cubic fuzzy Hamacher weighted Geometric (PCFHWG), Pythagorean Cubic fuzzy Hamacher order weighted Geometric (PCFHOWG), and Pythagorean Cubic fuzzy Hamacher hybrid geometric (PCFHHA) operators. Furthermore, we apply these aggregation operators of Pythagorean Cubic fuzzy numbers to the decision making problem for green supplier selection. We construct an algorithm for the group decision making by using aggregation operators and score function. The proposed decision making method applies to green chain supplier selection problem and find the best green supplier for green supply chain management. The proposed method compared with other group decision techniques under Pythagorean cubic fuzzy information. From the comparison and sensitivity analysis, we concluded that our proposed method is more generalized and effective method.</p>

The objective of this study was to create a logarithmic decision-making approach to deal with uncertainty in the form of a picture fuzzy set. Firstly, we define the logarithmic picture fuzzy number and define the basic operations. As a generalization of the sets, the picture fuzzy set provides a more profitable method to express the uncertainties in the data to deal with decision making problems. Picture fuzzy aggregation operators have a vital role in fuzzy decision-making problems. In this study, we propose a series of logarithmic aggregation operators: logarithmic picture fuzzy weighted averaging/geometric and logarithmic picture fuzzy ordered weighted averaging/geometric aggregation operators and characterized their desirable properties. Finally, a novel algorithm technique was developed to solve multi-attribute decision making (MADM) problems with picture fuzzy information. To show the superiority and the validity of the proposed aggregation operations, we compared it with the existing method, and concluded from the comparison and sensitivity analysis that our proposed technique is more effective and reliable.

Vendor selection is an established problem in supply chain management. It is regarded as a strategic resource by manufacturers, which must be managed efficiently. Any inappropriate selection of the vendors may lead to severe issues in the supply chain network. Hence, the desire to develop a model that minimizes the combination of transportation, deliveries, and ordering costs under uncertainty situation. In this paper, a multi-objective vendor selection problem under fuzzy environment is solved using a fuzzy goal programming approach. The vendor selection problem was modeled as a multi-objective problem, including three primary objectives of minimizing the transportation cost; the late deliveries; and the net ordering cost subject to constraints related to aggregate demand; vendor capacity; budget allocation; purchasing value; vendors’ quota; and quantity rejected. The proposed model input parameters are considered to be LR fuzzy numbers. The effectiveness of the model is illustrated with simulated data using R statistical package based on a real-life case study which was analyzed using LINGO 16.0 optimization software. The decision on the vendor’s quota allocation and selection under different degree of vagueness in the information was provided. The proposed model can address realistic vendor selection problem in the fuzzy environment and can serve as a useful tool for multi-criteria decision-making in supply chain management.

In the changing market scenario, supply chain management is getting phenomenal importance amongst researchers. Studies on supply chain management have emphasized the vitality of a long-term strategic relationship between the supplier, distributor and retailer. In this article, the authors have studied a two-stage supply chain coordination problem under uncertain costs and demand information when integrated procurement and distribution decisions of supply chain has to be employed. The model incorporates a single supplier transporting its products to multiple destinations of a retailer. This process becomes tedious, as when items have an inventory carrying cost incurred due to perishable nature of products. Different discount policies are offered to procure and transport goods from the one stage to other stage. Fuzzy set theory is applied to estimate the uncertainty associated with the input parameters and triangular fuzzy numbers are used to analyze the model. A case is presented to validate the procedure.

The recently proposed q-rung picture fuzzy set (q-RPFSs) can describe complex fuzzy and uncertain information effectively. The Hamy mean (HM) operator gets good performance in the process of information aggregation due to its ability to capturing the interrelationships among aggregated values. In this study, we extend HM to q-rung picture fuzzy environment, propose novel q-rung picture fuzzy aggregation operators, and demonstrate their application to multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM). First of all, on the basis of Dombi t-norm and t-conorm (DTT), we propose novel operational rules of q-rung picture fuzzy numbers (q-RPFNs). Second, we propose some new aggregation operators of q-RPFNs based on the newly-developed operations, i.e., the q-rung picture fuzzy Dombi Hamy mean (q-RPFDHM) operator, the q-rung picture fuzzy Dombi weighted Hamy mean (q-RPFDWHM) operator, the q-rung picture fuzzy Dombi dual Hamy mean (q-RPFDDHM) operator, and the q-rung picture fuzzy Dombi weighted dual Hamy mean (q-RPFDWDHM) operator. Properties of these operators are also discussed. Third, a new q-rung picture fuzzy MAGDM method is proposed with the help of the proposed operators. Finally, a best project selection example is provided to demonstrate the practicality and effectiveness of the new method. The superiorities of the proposed method are illustrated through comparative analysis.

Expressing the measure of uncertainty, in terms of an interval instead of a crisp number, provides improved results in fuzzy mathematics. Several such concepts are established, including the interval-valued fuzzy set, the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy set, and the interval-valued picture fuzzy set. The goal of this article is to enhance the T-spherical fuzzy set (TSFS) by introducing the interval-valued TSFS (IVTSFS), which describes the uncertainty measure in terms of the membership, abstinence, non-membership, and the refusal degree. The novelty of the IVTSFS over the pre-existing fuzzy structures is analyzed. The basic operations are proposed for IVTSFSs and their properties are investigated. Two aggregation operators for IVTSFSs are developed, including weighted averaging and weighted geometric operators, and their validity is examined using the induction method. Several consequences of new operators, along with their comparative studies, are elaborated. A multi-attribute decision-making method in the context of IVTSFSs is developed, followed by a brief numerical example where the selection of the best policy, among a list of investment policies of a multinational company, is to be evaluated. The advantages of using the framework of IVTSFSs are described theoretically and numerically, hence showing the limitations of pre-existing aggregation operators.

The low-carbon supply chain management is big a challenge for the researchers due to the rapid increase in global warming and environmental concerns. With the advancement of the environmental concerns and social economy, it is an unavoidable choice for a business to achieve sustainable growth for low-carbon supply chain management. Since the root of the chain depends upon the supplier selection and choosing an excellent low-carbon supply. Green supplier selection is one of the most crucial activities in low-carbon supply chain management, it is critical to develop rigorous requirements and a system for selection in low-carbon green supply chain management (LCGSCM). A q-rung orthopair fuzzy number (q-ROFN) is pair of membership degree (MD) and non-membership degrees (NMD) which is reliable to address uncertainties in the various real-life problems. This article sets out a decision analysis approach for interactions between MDs and NMDs with the help of q-ROFNs. For this objective, we develop new aggregation operators (AOs) named as, q-rung orthopair fuzzy interaction weighted averaging (q-ROFIWA) operator, q-rung orthopair fuzzy interaction ordered weighted averaging (q-ROFIOWA) operator, q-rung orthopair fuzzy interaction hybrid averaging (q-ROFIHA) operator, q-rung orthopair fuzzy interaction weighted geometric (q-ROFIWG) operator, q-rung orthopair fuzzy interaction ordered weighted geometric (q-ROFIOWG) operator and q-rung orthopair fuzzy interaction hybrid geometric (q-ROFIHG) operator. These AOs define an advanced approach for information fusion and modeling uncertainties in multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM). At the end, a robust MCDM approach based on newly developed AOs is developed. Some significant properties of these AOS are analyzed and the efficiency of the developed approach is assessed with a practical application towards sustainable low-carbon green supply chain management.

Selection of efficient supplier is essential in a Supply Chain Management. It increases product quality, reduces wastage and saves time. In recent past, many methods were used in supplier selection process. Selection of efficient supplier that suits the manufacturer criteria is needed. The proposed method comprises of two stages that integrates Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The efficiency of the given set of suppliers is evaluated using DEA method in the first stage that filters the given list of suppliers. While in the second stage, TOPSIS method is applied to select one of the efficient suppliers shortlisted in first stage. Integration of two methods reduces the selection time. Since the data provided and the criteria considered are vague and imprecise in nature, decision making is done in intuitionistic fuzzy environment. The proposed methodology is demonstrated with a numerical illustration.
