Methods: This study is a quantitative study with a correlational analytic research design using a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was 132 elderly with type 2 diabetes mellitus using a probability sampling method with a technique used simple random sampling and obtained a sample of 100 elderly DM type 2. Results: The results showed that most of the elderly have family support and good self-efficacy. with less self-care behavior. The results of the analysis using the Spearman rank test showed that family support was associated with self-care for people with diabetes mellitus type 2 (p-value = 0.006, ɑ = 0.05). The results of the Spearman rank test analysis showed that self-efficacy was related to self-care for people with diabetes mellitus type 2 (p-value = 0.001, ɑ = 0.05). Conclusion: Family support and self-efficacy gave to elderly people with type 2 diabetes mellitus can influence health behavior patterns that will make self-care behavior well.

Using SPSS IBM 21.0 program, Pearson product moment correlation was performed to analyze data. Results: The findings showed that self-efficacy and family support had positive relationship with eating behaviors (r = .692, p < .001; r = .683, p < .001, respectively). Psychological stress had negative relationship with eating behaviors (r = -.327, p < .001).Conclusion: Self-efficacy, family support, and psychological stress had relationship with eating behaviors. Nurses should pay attention to the factors to make T2DM patients into a long-term commitment toward healthy eating behaviors.

This type of research uses descriptive correlational with cross sectional approach. Sampling using purposive sampling technique amounted to 34 respondents. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Analysis of data using rank test speraman.Place of research in Waled District Hospital Cirebon in July 2020. The results showed that most respondents' self-efficacy in the high category (58.8%) and coping strategies were mostly in the good category (61.8%). Spearman rank test results P value <a and r <1 then H0 = rejected means that there is a strong and positive relationship between self-efficacy and coping strategies in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the Polyclinic of Waled District Hospital Cirebon (P value = 0,000: a = 0 .05 r = 0.719). It is expected that nurses should provide more motivation and support to patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and educate about the importance of coping strategies

This research used cross sectional design. Population was all patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Banyumas Regency. Sampling method was performed by cluster sampling technique with sample size of 532 patients spreading in 22 community health centers (Puskesmas) in Banyumas Regency. Data analysis used Spearman correlation test and Multiple Linear Regression. The result indicated that p value in each variable affecting diabetes self-care was gender (p=0,043), age (p=0.18), duration of diabetes (p= 0.11) , knowledge (p=0.000), motivation (=0.01), and family support (p= 0.000). 10.4 % variation in diabetes self-care can be explained by knowledge variable with the coefficient β = 0.32. It can be concluded that there was a relationship among gender, knowledge, motivation and family support on diabetes self-care.
