Pregnancy with a unicornuate uterus is an infrequent obstetrical presentation. Unicornuate uterus leads to various complications, including infertility and poor pregnancy outcomes. It may be asymptomatic and remain undiagnosed till the woman is unable to conceive or present with a bad obstetric history. Abstract Achondroplasia is a common form of dwarfism occurring in one out of 25,000 of live births. These patients present many problems during pregnancy and at the time of the delivery. The anaesthetist may also face several difficulties for both general and regional anaesthesia. The aim of this case report is to discuss various obstetric and anaesthetic considerations in such patients and ways to manage the difficulties. A 29-year-old woman expecting her first child, with achondroplasia —height of just 3’2’’ (98 centimetres) — at 31 weeks of gestation, presented to our OPD for antenatal visit on May 15, 2018. Unicornuate uterus belongs to class U4 or Hemi-uterus classication according to the European society of human reproduction and embryology (ESHRE). The incidence of Hemi-uterus is 1-2 %. It is associated with fetal survival of 40%. Kyphoscoliosis is an abnormal curvature of the spine in both coronal and sagittal planes. Prevalence varies from 0.3% to 15.3%. We present a case of 27 years, unbooked primigravida with 34 weeks gestation with leaking per vagina and pain abdomen with breech presentation. She had short stature and kyphoscoliosis. During caesarean section she was found to have unicornuate uterus with absent left fallopian tube and ovary.

Abstract Background Functional gonadotroph adenomas (FGAs) are rare adenomas that most commonly secrete FSH. However, solitary LH-secreting pituitary adenomas are unusual. Case presentation A 30-year-old woman with elevated LH and normal FSH presented with inability to conceive. An MRI revealed an enlarged sella turcica and an intrasellar mass. Treatment with transsphenoidal resection led to normalization of LH and estradiol, as well as successful pregnancy. And we reviewed 6 cases of LH-secreting pituitary adenomas from 1981 to 2020. Conclusions Our case is unique because of the LH-secreting pituitary adenoma without FSH hypersecretion. This case indicates that pituitary adenoma should be considered when other diseases causing infertility have been excluded.
