Post-partum hemorrhage is one of the leading causes of maternal mortality and it’s etiology needs to be identified in order for adequate treatment to be provided. We report a case of a post-partum hemorrhage in a multiparous woman treated with selective coil packing embolization after identification of laceration of the right uterine artery’s ascending branch. The patient was admitted to an intensive care unit in hemorrhagic hypovolemic shock and disseminated intravascular coagulation and underwent total hysterectomy due to infectious complications.

ABSTRACT: Parasitic or wandering leiomyoma are rare extra-uterine benign pedunculated sub-serous leiomyoma which after being detached from its primary location thrives in secondary location from blood supply from nearby feeding vessels. This case represents a multiparous woman, with one such parasitic leiomyoma encountered at laparotomy, proven by histopathological examination.

Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) is an important cause of myocardial infarction that typically affects women without traditional cardiovascular risk factors. It is the most common cause of myocardial infarction in pregnant and postpartum women. SCAD is often underdiagnosed due to the lack of clinician familiarity, and patients with pregnancy-associated SCAD often have more severe clinical presentations than those without. We present a case of SCAD in a multiparous woman who presented with acute chest pain in the postpartum period.

A healthy multiparous woman presented at 35 weeks and 4 days’ gestation with threatened preterm labour on multiple occasions. An incidental finding of severe hypokalaemia (2.4 mmol/L) was detected on routine blood tests. The cause of this hypokalaemia was not initially obvious. It was eventually linked to overuse of over-the-counter antacids for pregnancy-associated heartburn. The patient was managed with parenteral and then oral electrolyte replacement which corrected a pH of 7.55, bicarbonate of 36.7 mEq/L and a base excess 13.1. In this case report we consider whether hypokalaemia could be linked to uterine irritability and threatened preterm labour, whether antacids were being abused in the context of an eating disorder and the importance of taking a full drug history.

1) A severely emaciated multiparous woman, who had the last regulation 8 months ago, complains of pain, and lately on bleeding. Due to the undetermined nature of the tumor felt in the abdomen, the diagnosis fluctuates between missed labor and gravidatas extrauterina. Probing the uterus, which turned out to be empty, raises doubts. But earlier, after the consent of the patient, who was in a very feverish state, at the proposed surgical intervention, a stinking amniotic fluid began to seep through a small opening in the vagina. Having widened this hole, we began to extract the contents of the fertile beetle, which did not end immediately, but lasted for several days at intervals. Convalescence.

Introduction: Bladder leiomyoma which is commonly found in middle aged females is a rare, benign, and mesenchymal tumor of the bladder. Its incidence rate is lower than 0.5% among all types of bladder tumors. There are fewer than 250 reports on bladder leiomyoma. Herein, we report a case of bladder leiomyoma in a 37 years’ female. Case Presentation: A 37-year-old multiparous woman presented with complaints of occasional hematuria and dysuria and irritative symptoms. In the examination and imaging, a mass with size of 8 cm was reported in anterior border of uterus with firm consistency. Surgery was performed and the mass was resected. Postoperative histopathology review confirmed bladder leiomyoma. Conclusion: Leiomyoma should be kept in mind as a differential diagnosis in women presenting with dysuria, frequency or hematuria and a firm consistency mass even in unusual site as the bladder. Complete resection leads to very good outcome with almost no recurrence.

A vesicouterine fistula is an abnormal pathway between the urinary bladder and the uterus. It is a rare urogynaecological fistula. In vesicouterine fistula, clinical presentations are cyclic haematuria (menouria), amenorrhoea, urinary continence which mimics Youssef’s syndrome. This case presents, a 37 year old multiparous woman with vesicouterine fistula which she developed 8 years after cesarean section. Diagnosis was confirmed by cystoscopy and fistula was repaired through trans abdominal surgery. She regained normal vaginal menses 4 months after surgery. Partial hydatidiform mole can evolve into a metastatic trophoblastic tumor. A 36-year-old, multiparous woman, pregnant with a 22-week embryonic hydatidiform mole, having spontaneously expelled. Histopathological examination showed a non-invasive partial mole. During biological monitoring, a trophoblastic tumor was diagnosed with pulmonary metastasis on CT-scan and myometrial invasion by MRI. Authors opted for a monochemotherapy with a good evolution. The potential risk of malignant transformation of the partial hydatidiform mole requires an adequate therapeutic strategy with strict monitoring.
